Round 2 Decision

I was asked if the Cards do go DT in round 1, do they need to trade up in round 2 to secure a needed Edge? If the Cards offer their fourth they could likely move to pick 42 or 43 from their 50 spot. If that’s not early enough their third would buy them the first or second pick in round 2. Of course depending who’s on the board some teams may be unwilling to trade if their guy is there. Many Edges will go in round 1, but a few good ones will slide early in round 2. Whether one will last until 43 is dicey.

I think.....
The top couple DTs will go early, ..leaving guys we can get in round 2 so we should focus on pass rushing olb in round 1....maybe even use our 4th to move up a couple slots

Would make things a lot easier if we sign a FA for edge or DT. While the names arent all world they would be an upgrade, and help to not have the need to trade a draft pick to move up
