Dang, another let down.
I don't want to play the Warriors. Rather play Utah. Better matchups for us.

My thoughts on the series:
- Deron Williams is a stud.
- Cleveland must be feeling really stupid about letting Boozer get away.
- The Warriors are entertaining and dangerous, but if they ran into San Antonio or Detroit, they'd be swept.
- Mr. Okur would look pretty nice on the Suns. I, for one, really wanted the Suns to pursue him a few years back.
- Baron Davis is really, really good - if only the guy could stay healthy for 100 games at a time.
- My heart goes out to Derek Fisher - that guy is going through hell right now. It was nice to see Davis and other Warriors pull him aside and show some support when he came into the game in the third quarter.
Deron Williams was taken 3rd in the 2005, one slot ahead of Chris Paul. I was more impressed with him than Paul while in college, but it took him a season to figure out how to play in the NBA.
Cleveland got "taken" when they accepted a promise by Boozer who then broke his word. They weren't stupid, just naive.
The Warriors could have won both games in Salt Lake City. This is a very dangerous team and I'd never underestimate them. Still, their general inexperience certainly hurts them.
The Suns gave up on Okur once it became clear he was out of their price range. To afford Okur, the Suns would not have enough money for Nash.
Baron Davis has been a hidden gem for a long time, since his career has been riddled with injuries. He took his team to the playoffs while with the Hornets, but never had much of a supporting cast.
Fisher's story is like out of the movies. I can't remember a guy coming to the arena in street clothes in the second half and then being decisive in bringing his team victory. The pathos as to why he was gone just adds to the drama.
BTW, Nelson must read this board. He announced yesterday that he's going to play Monta Ellis more because he realized in hindsight that he's wearing Baron out and it's killing them at the end of the games.
Or maybe he just listened to Baron. After the game he said when he hit the floor right before the end of regulation he knew he just didn't have any more in him -- he was done -- and he's no quitter. I really hope GS can take the next two at home.
Not as good, Olajuwon >>>>>>>> Kirilenko.
