Rowen rescinds grievance?

Arizona made some news Monday. Its former offensive coordinator, Keith Rowen, rescinded the grievance he filed against the team after being fired.

Does he mean rescinded it because we fired him, or he filed the grievance before after being fired, and has now rescinded it? I think they mean we completely fired him today and thus he waived the grievance since he now gets paid and doesn't have to work for Green at all?

Last I checked, Rowen was never fired. Just demoted to Offensive Assistant.

Assuming everything Rowen said was true, this makes sense. No need to have horrible PR be dropped on top of a horrible season. IMO, this is an indictment that Rowen was speaking the truth because I would imagine if Green felt like he was slighted he would fight tooth and nail over it.

Assuming everything Rowen said was true, this makes sense. No need to have horrible PR be dropped on top of a horrible season. IMO, this is an indictment that Rowen was speaking the truth because I would imagine if Green felt like he was slighted he would fight tooth and nail over it.

At this point it's pretty hard to believe Rowen was lying. Look at the facts, we were told during the KC game that Green was going to call some plays during the game. AFter the KC game Edge complained he wanted the ball more, and Green said "I agree with him. I hope that happens." Largely due to 2 late mistakes by Leinart, a pick, and sack in FG range.

Next week we get out to the huge lead against the Bears, start running the ball over and over when the Bears are daring us to throw, colossal collapse, Rowen is fired.

it's a REAL stretch of the imagination to believe the same guy being blamed for the KC loss because he didn't run enough, was responsible for the CHI loss because he ran too much. The only logical explanation is Green took over and made sure we ran the ball more against the Bears.

Nothing else makes any sense in my world.

interesting that Rowen and his wife purchased a house in Scottsdale about 4 years before he took the Cardinals job....appears his family may have already been living here before the Cardinals approached him...

Looks like Rowen is still with the team so I misinterpreted the comments from Schefter.
