Don't know if anyone has heard about this, but next year AMC will have a new show called Rubicon. It is a political thriller about a guy who finds a huge government conspiracy. I will definitely be watching this when it comes out because I love the subject matter and the fact that AMC is the best place for tv drama right now. I would watch just about anything they produce. Can't wait for 2010 now with the new season of Breaking Bad and now Rubicon.

They are going to have a sneak peek right after the season finale of Breaking Bad this Sunday. I'm going to give it a few episodes to draw me in.

Very boring pilot, but I'll probably watch it again.

I didn't find it boring. It was very slow, but I believe that was on purpose. They obviously have to set up the situation and introduce us to character and since the show is about conspiracies I don't think you can blow right through the episodes. It certainly has some promise and I'll give it a few episodes to hook me.

Im a fan and will watch when it comes back, weird that its a month and a half delay from pilot to when the series begins any momentum they had will be gone and forgotten

So far from what I thought...

This was a good pilot, great little subtleties, like when they mention Will is never late for anything anymore, you have to think back to early in the episode when he's the first one into the daily meeting...that's good writing there.

I didn't think it was slow or boring, I thought it was kind of exciting, a little tense and very intriguing. Can't wait to watch this coupled with Mad Men.

Just re-watched the first episode then watched the second. While having a slow moving story I never felt like I was looking at the clock. It has so much paranoia and weird things going on to keep my attention. I also really like James Badge Dale in this show. I know most of you guys didn't like him in the Pacific but I thought he did a decent job on it. I will definitely be watching this through the season.

I'm still watching the show (a week behind however) but I think they need to give us a reason to care about someone, anyone. All the characters are fairly drab unexciting souls that border on the pathetic. Still, the story has me interested if not quite hooked. It's not the best of the summer shows but fortunately it doesn't face quite the competition that a fall season show would.

Will is supposed to be drab and unexciting. He's depressed because of the death of his wife and child. The other people we are supposed to support have had their husbands die via suicide or train crash. Miles lost his wife and kid because of his work.

The excitement for Will of course is the puzzle he is trying to solve.

For me anyway I enjoy the pace and the mood.

I understand and I'm not suggesting they need to turn them all into Disney characters. I just think they need to add a little zest to the group, it leaves me feeling like I'm re-watching Joe vs the Volcano every week. Again, I still like the show but piling mystery upon mystery doesn't usually hold up for the long run without a compelling character or two. At some point, too many viewers will replace "what's going on?" with "who cares?".

I went out of town for a week and have slowly been catching up on the DVR and since Rubicon has peeked my interest but not as much as more established shows these sat on the DVR for a while. I am sorry I left them there for so long. I just watched the last three episodes and this has shot up on my list of shows to watch immediately. They have been on a great run and can't wait to see where they take it. On another note Arliss Howard is extremely good on this show. He is my favorite character on this show.

Another outstanding episode continuing the great run they have been on. I still can't figure out what Kale is up to but I certainly love the way he seems to be controlling everything. Still a lot that needs to come out and they are running out of time but I have a lot of confidence in this show to finish this season strong.

Yeah, Kale grows on me more and more with each episode. I still don't know what color hat he's wearing but he has my attention.

This is slowly becoming one of my favorite shows on tv right now. The characters are becoming more likable, and the plot easier to follow. I also love the sets and the outdoor shots. Seems to me a lot of attention is paid to detail.
