Was out of town again the last 2 weeks and I finally caught up. Kale continues to be a badass though I still don't really know what he is up to. He has both sides against him yet still seems like he is working on both sides. This show has become my 2nd favorite show on the air right now.

It's one of those shows where it seems like nothing much happens and yet each episode keeps you fully engrossed. People need to tune in, it's well worth it. And Kale is quickly becoming one of the most unique and intriguing characters to grace the small screen.

Well holy sh*t. This was by far the best episode they have done so far. It had everything. The action, the great scene between Truxton and Will, Kale fixing things. Everything was done so well. Also, doesn't Kale seem like Mike from Breaking Bad? Forget the clean-up stuff, but they both seem like good guys who do bad things, but are awesome at it. Add in the fact they know everything and play both sides they are both great characters.

On a side note a friend mentioned how well they use music on this show so I focused on this and by god they do. The music is so anxious and helps out a ton when they are looking thru paperwork. I really hope they renew this show.

Man, Truxton may be one of the most evil people ever on television. He acts giddy when he gets the call that the attack is in progress, has no emotion towards seeing Will alive who he put a hit on, seems like he is going to put a hit on Kale who I think was his one-time protégé, and finally has a sick smile on his face when he is watching the tv report on the attack on the oil tanker. Just an unbelievable character on an unbelievable show. I know this may be unthinkable but I am seriously considering watching the Rubicon finale before I watch the Mad Men finale (I work when they are live so I have to watch off my DVR). This late run they have been on has been some of the best television I have seen in a while.

File this under maybe I am too hopeful but here it goes:
http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/rubicon-season-two-18755/

Obviously we have to wait for word from AMC but I really, really hope this show gets another season. It is way too good to be a one and done show.

I hope that report is correct. I just can't fathom why this show hasn't found an audience. Come on people, get off your CSI butts and watch this show!!!

Do TV ratings take DVR/Tivo "viewership" into account now?

Really hope this show gets renewed. The finale left a lot of things unresolved, but overall I liked it.

I was kind of disappointed with the finale. I think the show ran out of time and they knew they needed to close up some stuff. The main thing I didn't like was the fact that Andy was part of the conspiracy. I thought at the beginning that she may have been but we never saw anything to back it up. Then all of a sudden boom there she is and we never get a real explanation about her. Was she really trying to protect Kathrine or was she working the other side. It was way too rushed and they never built up any drama or thoughts about it.

Overall this season was great and I really hope they are given another season to see where it goes. There were so many characters that are so intriguing that I really want to know what happens to them. Please AMC bring this show back.

The explanation I suppose will come next season, assuming there is one. Personally, I think she set Katherine up. Perhaps, the "bad guys" learned about the safe place and replaced whoever was there with Andy. My question was why didn't Will take the DVD Katherine pulled out. Did he not see it?

The more I think about it she had to have set Katherine up. How else would the guy know to be at Bethesda Fountain? As for Will not getting the DVD, I think he was looking around trying to figure out if there was more people who were looking to kill him since she died the same way Bloom tried to kill Will.

That's disappointing. Is it an overreaction to want to hunt down and punish all those fools who refused to give this show a chance? I'm not saying it was the greatest show ever but it was a very solid show and it beats the heck out of almost anything on network TV this year.

Steve

Exactly how I feel. I'm hopeful AMC's next show will continue their run of great shows. I believe it is going to be a western which should be interesting. Too bad Rubicon can't catch on somewhere else because I want to see more Kale Ingram on tv.

I blame it on Walking Dead. Hopefully AMC doesn't trend toward more mindless TV. I like WD, but Rubicon is better.

Rubicon got MUCH better as the season progressed. I love Walking Dead and it's my favorite new show by far but taken as a whole, I liked season one of Rubicon better than WD to date. It's all moot as Rubicon could never escape it's slow start and dismal world but it was an intelligent show that deserved a better fate.

Feel your pain, love your avatar :)

I think I'm just numb to it all now...Firefly, etc...a show doesn't make it...ah well.

Rubicon getting cancelled was very disappointing but Firefly getting the axe was heartbreaking. We only got to see 12 episodes during it's initial run (14 eventually) but it goes into the books as one of my all-time favorite shows despite it's short run. Whenever my sports teams really suck I re-watch Firefly and Band of Brothers to cheer me up. I seem to watch them often these days.

I may rewatch 24 from the beginning again because the Cards suck so badly. I thought season 8 would be out on DVD but so far Amazon won't ship it. Don't know what's up with that
