I wouldn't. He'd make us good enough to not get a top-five pick, but not good enough to build around. I'd rather let Nash and Hill go, not sign anyone remotely good, tank a season, and see who's available next summer, once we have a good draft pick or two.
Yes, but see, I've already anticipated the front office doing their best to secure the 2013 WC 8th seed. So if we're going to be fabulously mediocre, I at least want a legitimate starting NBA basketball player on the floor. I do not want to see 3 scoring point guards and two shooting small forwards out there if I have to live through the 70s/80s again.
