Cannot verify but he was in court back on the 9th and back in court again this morning. So the timing of the news would coincide with his court appearances.

I saw it on Facebook and twitter from a few unreliable sources.

Urban already responded by saying he hasn't heard anything.

Thanks for getting the feedback from Urban

Hopefully we will see it for real soon

He wouldn't have to be in court for the charges to be dismissed. The DA would simply file a motion to dismiss. This is all a matter of public record. Just check the court website.

I wouldn't love to see it. The guy needs to spend some time in jail to get his head right. Cardinals player or not, you don't beat the hell out of the mother of your baby.

But if the allegations are not true, why should he spend a minute in jail?

Pretty clear - once Dansby was signed, DWash $10mil next year is at risk, if he loses money, then she loses money...so suit will likely be dropped and handled out of court.

This started as sarcasm, but after writing it out...

Did you see him "beat the hell out of her" or something?

Money is one hell of a motivator, that's why I was saying he should have left once it got crazy and let the lawyers talk to her. Nobody need jail time, someone just needs to move out and get some dual restrainers going. I hope he can focus on the season now if true.

Someone else on this board posted that it is now out of the alleged victim's hands. The state will pursue the matter from here and determine if the prosecution should move forward. She can only choose not to cooperate.

not necessarily. The defense could file the motion. And the motion can be filed at any time. Though it would make the most sense to file said motion while in court as both the prosecution and the defense will be present

Indeed.

I didn't find out that charges against me had been dropped, one time, until I showed up for my court date. The DA didn't notify the court either. Just one very embarrassed junior prosecutor letting us all know that the city had wasted our time.

True story.

In criminal cases, in Arizona, it is always the "State of Arizona" against the defendant.

Yeah,

cause women are never liars, they are never violent, destructive, manipulative, petty, crazy, dangerous, disrespectful and/or completely out of control. And they never, ever, ever play the "poor wittle me, I just a girl" card.

Especially when lots of money is involved.

I'll let the court decide, and take it from there. If he is innocent, then he is innocent.
