He contacted the station at 1:50 and told them he cant be there.

Bickley just speculated that maybe he just learned that he is in play to be traded

I think now that the Cards paid that $7mm bonus: the pay going forward this year is quite low -- and maybe even next year.


BTW: Clearly the likelihood is that nothing is happening. Just kinda fun to speculate on (just as Bickley did) to pass time prior to the draft

I don't follow Bickley or Jurecki but perhaps this was calculated on Kolb's part. Were either of these guys particularly harsh in their off-season comments about Kevin? If so, he probably should have dealt with this in a mature manner like Jim Everett did when he got tired of Rome calling him Chris Evert.
