This is the stupidest playcalling Ive ever seen! The announcer said the Cards have passed 75% of the time this year.

We are not behind but we will be, 6-6 in the 2nd 1/4, THT and The Bean have had success, can't have that!

DA needs to throw 100 times in a row again. He has had success early in some games than had a streak of incompletions, same pattern same stupid play calling.

Give Russ the playcalling, seeing how whiz can't act right for more than a 1/4. We started with balance and than cut our own throat again and again.

But in Madden 11 he's rated a 99 out of 100 Elite level coach.

John Madden bumped his head!
saving Beanie until the 2nd half or 2016 whichever comes first

But in Madden 11 he's rated a 99 out of 100 Elite level coach.

As crazy as this sounds, teams are consistently playing us with 8 men in the box on run downs and we struggle to run against that.

Derrick Anderson struggles to beat 4 men in coverage, and that's why our offense sucks.

yea I see that but if you run Beanie 30 times we win this game and the NFCW.

We have no QB, none zip, not-a

3 carries come on looks like the Saints playoff game without the Saints.

you can't just run 30 times and pick up 40 yards and expect to win. That's lunacy. Teams that run 30 times usually win because teams that are leading in a game run to kill the clock. It's not the other way around.

true

Beanie 3 times in a row would get more first downs and 3rd down conversions than passing 75% of the time with DA.

I know its unrealistic but any coach worth his salt would start the game running the Bean until He tires, correction IF HE TIRES. than bring in THT with fresh legs.

The forward pass is an after thought non priority until we establish the will to run with the worse QB in the NFL. what you think we would go 3 and out more?

We ran Edge when we actually won in 08, and We established edge before the halfback pass, flea flicker and everything else that actually worked in the playoffs, We ran Beanie to a 3 score lead in the GB playoff last year!

you know right before we got blown out in the 2nd half and carried it into NO, Beanie had 2 carries before we folded in trhat Saints game.

It aint rocket science its fundementally sound football, you know something we aint seen in awhile even with success

As Whis always says "depends on the coverage - 8 men in the box they will throw the ball."

Well, can't they just gotta suck it up and try to run even with 8 men in the box?

Other teams seem to have no problem doing that to the Cardinals. And that's with former pro bowl players Darnell Dockett, Adrian Wilson and Joey Porter in the box.

But then other teams don't have our weakness at ILB and a scheme that doesn't allow for swift run support from the secondary.

Other teams also don't have a PUNK at CB who refuses to tackle... :bang:

The Cards can't run the ball consistently because The oline can't block, they have no deep threat, really weak Tight End play, and WRs that can't get separation, or a QB who could get them the ball even when they do. So defenses can play 8 in the box and have DBs forcing the LOS at the snap and still shut down the Cards passing game.

With Warner the receivers didn't need to get open just have good hands, in the case of Fitz great hands, and didn't need a deep threat because the Cards could just pick defenses apart 7-8 yards a pop. Safeties also had to be aware of where Boldin was otherwise he'd run over them so they couldn't come up and force the run. (While his (Boldin) Career Yards Per Catch is relatively low at 12.8, his Career Yards After Catch at 5.3 is outstanding. Baltimore Sports and life blog)

respect that but don't agree. i think we have a good Oline that are put in position to fail. now passing 75% of the time with KW is one thing, With Da it's another story, as well we know.

There is a huge difference between roadgrading forward in run blocking and backing up to pass defend. I aint seen anything like 75% passing for 12 games, or 70% for 3 years.

yea peeps can beat this oline all they want but no OLine has ever held up to this, and never will. even that spread offense Atlanta tried back in the day(what was that called). The sick part is we have the RB's, we have the talent.

We drafted runblocking OL in Deuce and Levi. Faneca's specialty. do you relize we had 19 run carries in this last game and are last in running attempts for the 4th year in a row?

Yea this oline is the problem, and folks can't understand me!
run and shoot was what it was called.

I think Whiz has been in straight panic mode for some time now. The lean Bean falling machine has gotten out of our already pass happy, I can't call him Whiz any more until he starts coaching like one again. So Coach keeps Hightower in, Coach doesn't change his mind much. He sticks with it and we watch it, its nice when it works though.

Beanie started off hurt, complained about carries, had some opportunities, nothing happened. Now we are always in desperation mode, chucking the ball all over to avoid the sacks we all know are coming, seemingly every play. Nobody is getting 20 touches again this season, book it dan O. :D

The offensive line started out shuffled, had some opportunities and the only thing that happened was opposing defenders running into our backfield at full speed untouched getting to the RB and QB almost as soon as they get the ball.

Heck Hightower got tripped up for a 4 yard loss on a one handed slap at his ankle Sunday, BY A DADBLAMED SAFETY!!!!!!!!!!!! A SAFETY 4 YARDS IN OUR BACKFIELD!

Come on guys block SOMEBODY!

Those radio guys after the game were disgusted with that. Said DRC went out of his way to avoid contact when Stephen Jackson came his way.

Come to think of it, I have noticed teams try to run to his side of the field most of the time.

The good thing about running three straight plays and then punting is we would run more time off the clock than three straight in-completions.

That would give the other team less time to score on us. :)

least of worries

I noticed Rhodes doing it against the Niners, but was better this week.

DRC has been tackling better down field, my problem is go for the coverage first and INT 2nd, same with strip, fundementals are warped, yea others do it, but it aint working out so well for the cardinals what over 50 big plays this year?

but We run the ball, control the reps is the only chance we have on defense. the talent we have is wasted.
