You don't have any idea what Rosen is at this point.

I know that Tannehill's worst season, his rookie year, is vastly superior to Rosen's 1st year.

Tannehill: 58.3% completion. 3294 yards. 12 TDs to 13 INTs. Sacked 35 times. All advanced passing stats in the 90s except INT which was 101 (100 is league average)

Rosen: 55.2% completion 2278 yards. 11 TDs to 14 INTs Sacked 45 times. All advanced passing stats between 67 and 82. Nothing at league average.

Tannehill's second season he was sacked 58 times. He went up to 60.4% completion for 3913 yards 24 TDs and 17 INTs

For Rosen to get to the lofty levels of Ryan Tannehill he will have to:

Add 5.4% to his completion percentage. Throw for 1600 more yards. Double his TDs.

How likely do you believe that outcome is?

One of the best stat season in college matters how in the NFL?
Hype is involved in the Media/talking heads frenzy involving Murray. It is ridiculous to think otherwise.
I question his ability to withstand bigger better stronger faster smarter players after him.i question his ability to use his passing lanes ,I question his abilty to be able to use his "elite' traits in the NFl,He isn`t superman no matter what you and your fellow Murray fans think.
I don`t think he is worth the risk .That's my opinion.
If the Cards do dradft him I will be disappointed but I will just hope he will be able to do what you Murray fans seem so sure that he will do.

Why do you question his ability to withstand bigger players? Quite a few RBs are around his size.

Why do you question his ability to find passing lanes? He's been 5'10 his entire career and has never struggled at it. It's a stupid argument and one I used until I realized it was stupid. Russell Wilson doesnt struggle with this. Drew Brees doesnt struggle. Have you seen something on film that suggests he will.

Why do you question his ability to use his elite traits? I dont think he will be as effective in the NFL, virtually no one is, but if he's half as effective he's the best QB at running in the NFL. He's faster than Wilson.

I think it's very likely that Rosen will be better than Tannehill, since Tannehill lacks a lot of Rosen's arm talents and even movement in the pocket... at least you did not insult Rosen by saying he is worst than Lindley like another poster, so you are only going half off which I commend you :)

Murray is a better passer than Josh Rosen on every level.

One of the best statistical seasons in over 100 years of college football.

Yeah! Just hype! Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

I'm looking at Kyler Murray holistically. Nice young man, who works his butt off, and has a great understanding of playing QB. Very much has shown he can work through progressions, throws with elite velocity, and is an elite athlete.

One of the scouts that watched Murray throw at his pro day, basically stated that if you watch Murray's film, his footwork is almost always great because he's such a springy athlete. He's like a cat.

What makes you think he is very nice man? I think he is a little arrogant in his actions proven on the football field as when his high school coach said that after he threw a interception he came back and put the blame on the coach, or when he got into a tantrum at A&M for being pulled. Now I do not think he is a character problem, but with his professional sport dad he is a little more of a sheltered child than the impression we like to throw at Rosen. I will say this, Mayfield does deserve the respect he garners as being a competitor because nothing was ever handed to him... oh, by the way, Rosen is a much better passer in regards to working the interior of the field and hitting a guy in stride :)

Hey man, wasn't it enough for you last year when Mayfield's character was vigorously attacked? Didn't you get your pound of flesh then?

And what did it matter in the end Jetstream? The three yard dash vs. sober AR cops. The crotch grabbing. The big mouthing. How did all that bad behavior impact Baker's draft status?

This is not the direction you want to go in sir. It's bad form going after a kid's character, and it will be just as ineffective as is was for Mayfield's detractors.

There was never even a hint of bad behavior during Murray's two years on the OU campus. Zero incidents. Plus all Big XII academic team.

Please Jetstream. I have no problem debating Murray on his football ability, but let's not hypothesize about what kind of person he is based on zero time actually spent with him.

You wouldn't want someone to do that to your son.

I actually like Mayfield's character and liked him as a draft pick and as I said in my post "Now I do not think he is a character problem" in regards to Murray.. but I am allowed to cite concerns just as someone wants to say he is a great guy :)

Yep. Murray throws from the pocket.

Most of the anti-Murray posts are filled with intellectual sloth, devoid of any basis in reality.

And the pro-Murray posts reek of flim-flam, the reality of a con barked out by cultists. We saw it with Tim Tebow and Johnny Football.

You even comparing him to those two shows you are ignorant on the topic. You havent done your homework on him.

I said the same things a few weeks ago when I saw a few highlight reels.

We get it. You found religion and feel a need to pass it on.

I wonder how much of the hype and top pick speculation would be happening if KK hadn`t made the statement about Murray 6 months ago? How many slobberboy talking heads would be all over Murray as top pick?
media driven Frenzy because of KK quote or justified speculation out of thin air?

If Arizona doesn’t take Murray, he’s going to plummet a la Brady Quinn,
Aaron Rodgers, and Lamar Jackson.

I don’t wish ill-will on the kid, but the ramifications of this hype are disconcerting for his draft prospects.
I disagree. I believe there are teams out there that grade Murray pretty high but realistically they’re not in a position to draft him. However there are teams that will jump at the opportunity if he gets past the 4th pick. I think the Redskins will jump as well as the Dolphins. Both teams are a perfect situation. The skins have a qb that might never play along with a cap hit. The dolphins can play this year with Murray and still tank.

Doubt that teams at #13 and #15 would pay the enormous premium to climb to #5 to draft the second rated QB. Maybe a bit of action at the bottom of the top 10.

Okay. Let’s agree to disagree. Personally I think Murray is going to be a Cardinal.

Lol. Why does that matter? Some people connect dots.. others don't, apparently. As they say, where there is smoke, there is fire..or in other people's case, is just smoke. Lol I'm not really a big believer in coincidences. There was an action, and this is now the reaction. But we shall see soon enough.

Deception? At that point who did he have to deceive? If anything, that would have been the best time to trust anything coming out of his mouth. Buts thats me.

So you think KK was hired with the intention of picking Murray and KK saying he was looking forward to working with Rosen was just PR BS?
