Why would LaCanfora bother with covering Ryan Williams news, unless the information was given/planted by someone with the Cards? RW agent?

Another wasted RB pick in a very long line of them. I expect he will be making the pro-bowl in a couple years for his new team. That is the way it works out for us, right!

Fell off the block and hurt his knee. Out 4-6 weeks. Why did we let LSH go again? He's the only durable back that's been on this roster in years.

Yep. At least those 2 had somewhat done some things on an NFL field, unlike RW whose yet to do anything.

agreed...and they hadn't suffered the devastating injury RW did right off the bat...not to mention a rash of other injuries throughout his career dating through college and even high school.

I just don't think the kid's got an NFL caliber body to make it.

Let's be clear: Thomas Jones wasn't scared of playing football. He was scared of phones.

Let's face it, he isn't going to be traded.

He will show up tonight and make the roster on Sat or he will be cut.

Strange story Thomas Jones. 5 years and 3 different teams in the NFL before rushing for over 1000 yards.

A weird story like Priest Holmes. Rushes for 4,590 yards and 57 TDs in three years 2001-2003 and then just fades away. 49TDs in two seasons! Must have been a fantasy players dream.

don't think Holmes really faded away. he suffered a neck injury in 2005 and just never recovered from it. and he just never got a chance to shine in Baltimore playing behind Jamal Lewis when he was still a relative beast.

TJ is a different story altogether. the guy got chance after chance to be a starter, couldn't get it done for whatever reason, then went on to have a decent first season with the Bears and then just became a beast for five years, starting when he was 27.

Did he really get the chance or did they keep playing the wifebeater (allegedly) Pittman?

If I recall, he was leading the league in rushing and suffered the dreaded high ankle sprain. Needless to say, fans said he was a wuss.

And then he worked behind Marcell Shipp. But those were sad times for the Cardinals. The turmoil created in 1999 that resulted in Tobin being a lame duck coach in 2000 and McGinnis taking over after the Cowboys debacle. The worst season in Arizona Cardinal history. 3-13. The team was a real mess from '99-2004.

Year 2000 losses: 33-14, 48-7, 31-14, 34-9, 31-7, 44-10. 11 straight games scoring less than 17 points.

Even 40 year fan was unhappy. :p

Exactly what happened! Coach Mac was obviously infatuated with Pittman & I still don't know why...he's was a role player, but never a starting caliber RB IMO.

More like Tim Hightower.

He's not even in THT level...Williams was at the level of Ducks all time fav Cardinal RB, Leland McElroy :D RW is/has been a complete bust thus far...no ifs, ands or buts about it.
