That kinda sucks. With the way the Cards have been shutting down premier backs and making scrubs look like hof'ers.

Adam Goldberg will be out for a month
By Jim Thomas
POST-DISPATCH RAMS WRITER
10/01/2007

The injury news wasn't as bad as feared for offensive lineman Adam Goldberg. Goldberg, who started at right tackle Sunday in Dallas, has a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee. He will be sidelined for a month, but the injury will not require surgery. Originally it was feared that Goldberg might be out for the season.

Goldberg suffered the injury early in the third quarter of Sunday's 35-7 loss to the Cowboys. He is the fifth Rams offensive lineman to suffer a serious injury in the last six weeks, joining in order, Richie Incognito (ankle), Todd Steussie (foot), Orlando Pace (shoulder), and Mark Setterstrom (knee).

Brandon Gorin replaced Goldberg for the rest of the Dallas game and is the likely starter for this Sunday's game against Arizona.

Meanwhile, cornerback Fakhir Brown returned to the active roster Monday, his four-game suspension ended for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. To make room for Brown on the 53-man roster, the Rams have released rookie free agent corner Darius Vinnett.

There is no excuse for the Cards to not dominate the Rams this week. Not only is Jackson out, but Holt is still running on a damaged ankle, Bruce is beat up, and Bulger has broken ribs. We should kill them this week! Which would be a nice nice change of pace from the nail biters we've been treated to the first 4 weeks.

we need to step on this team's throat IMMEDIATELY - we're snake-bit on the road as it is and it's always dangerous giving a wounded team hope, especially since the Cardinals for some reason, have always thought more of themselves than they deserved to. Don't take them lightly and end it EARLY!

Absolutely. It would be great if this game could be on in Chicago, or if I had time to take the train to St. Louis.

yea lets finally treat a rookie the way he should, shut him down, make him sing his schools fight song, tie him to the goal post, and LEAVE WITH A WIN.

I was going to post either:

1) Thank you for playing Rams. Your season is over.

or

2) Rams are circling the drain.

But I think either might be a jinx.

I think they saw the pressure we put on Ben and knew Bulger would have been dead by halftime. Ben is twice as strong and ten times more elusive that Bulger, and we still sacked him 4Xs. All those times he got away Bul;ger would have gotton taken down. I would say it would have been 8-10 sacks. The guy has two broken ribs. i have broken ribs before and it is the worst thing in the world. it hurts to breathe. Dont forget that Pittsburgh has a good O line whereas the Rams is in shreds right now.

I just heard it on ESPN Radio that Ferrotte would be starting, which worries me more than facing a beat-up Bulger.
