Geez. Per ESPN: Terry suspended. That helps the Spurs a whole bunch.

"Mavs guard Jason Terry was suspended from Friday's Game 6 for punching the Spurs' Michael Finley in the closing seconds of Game 5 on Wednesday night."

Anyone have this on Tivo?

i heard on the radio that SA sent tape to the league and it shows Terry punching Finley in the package - hence Finley's anger and having 2 teamates hold him back from attacking Terry.
It's not like Raja clotheslining Kobe - Finley's not a dirty cheapshop artist like Kobe...

Just showed in on NBA Shootaround. It was a direct hit to the nuggets.

Wow. You'd think the Nuggets have had enough abuse this postseason.

It doesn't excuse him, but I can understand why Terry was frustrated.. He clearly should have gotten the time out. Both he and his teammates were signaling for a timeout, but the referee waited until San Antonio tied it up. And Finley jumped on top of him at the end.

At least Raja Bell got his money's worth. :)

I thought the same thing. Terry had complete control of the ball, made the timeout signal to the ref and then the spurs jumped on top of him and got a jumpball call.

About 4 times during this year's playoffs, I have seen players *with the ball* call a TO to have the refs ignore them. It's as if there is a new "You must be completely out of danger" TO rule.

Aren't the Nuggets hitting balls of their own right now? (Golf)

Somehow I feel Mavs would lose this series....

If Mavs lost game 6, it's done.
