Hall of Famer
Safari for Windows was hacked on day one of the release.Live on Firefox!!!
I've always wondered about people just not trying as hard on Macs. Could the situation be exactly the same on Linux?
Erm...dreamcastrocks said:who would use Safari for Windows anyway?
Why would anybody use Safari in the first place?
Edit:
Erm...
Safari is the most reliable browser on Macs. Always has been, even over Firefox. Firefox, however, is more user-friendly IMO.
Everything is most reliable on a MAC... no one uses them, roughly 13% of the computing population... There are two main types of hackers, one for notoriety and the other for "sticking it to the man". If you are a hacker and are after fame of being attached to the guy that hacked "x" you are not going to look at any MAC program to hack. If you are the other type of hacker you are going to try to "take down" the biggest dog, "the man", also not MAC...
Until MAC makes comparative sales outside of the iPod they will remain primarily hacker free.
You are contradicting yourself. If hackers do their thing for notoriety then why wouldn't they go after Macs?
What would be more notorious than hacking the almighty unhackable Mac?
Almight and Mac in the same sentence? LOL.
It hasn't been hacked because it's so insignificant that no one would waste their time on it.

I was commenting on all those commercials were the Mac guy talks about how secure a Mac is. Macs have been hacked, they've had to release patches for OSX.
I'll throw this out, Safari was downloaded a million times in 48 hours. Those are impressive stats...
The first time I saw that (a long time ago) I dang near wet my pants laughing...
