Saints Game Preview

Hell, the Cards beat the Saints with Max Hall at QB. When the NO offense was better than it is now, and a Saints defense that is WAY more talented than they one coming in this week.

If we don't crush the Saints, it could be a disappointing year. The only way this game is close is if we make a lot of self-inflicted wounds.

A mirror image of my own thoughts ajcardfan . I keep hearing Drew Brees , Drew Brees , as if Palmer is just a bum of the month or something . It seems that some are trapped in the past and can't bring themselves to believe that this team is as good as it is . I don't believe that we will win because "WE" have Palmer (he didn't win with 2 previous teams) , I believe we will win because Bruce Arians has Carson Palmer , and "WE" have Bruce Arians .

Still, facing Drew Brees the first game of the year is tough. We've had some tough opening days against inferior opponents.

And honestly, Brees has a superior killer instinct and will chuck it. Especially if they get ahead. Brees is a killer and will put a boot on our neck if he can. We let guys hang around, Brees just wants to dispose of the body.

Carson Palmer is a solid starter who's best season was 8 years and two reconstructed knees ago.

Bree's is a first-ballot hall of famer.

Drew Brees is a SB champ and future HOF'er. All praise for him is justified and has nothing to do with disrespecting Palmer.

Fun fact: Brees has missed 1 game since playing for New Orleans. That's 143 of 144 games.
