Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge it is......too many compelling reason not to stay within the state.

My goodness what devastation in NO and elsewhere along the Gulf Coast. This is a serious tragedy. My prayers go to all those suffering.

I had know idea how bad it was there until now. I watched about an hour of the news and things look really bad there now. I agree, that is a very bad tragedy.

If there were to be 2 games in one day at the texans stadium it would be the perfect time to do the 2 hour bathroom thrust. Walk out and watch the 2nd game. (sort of like movie hopping)

As for the cancelling of the college games, I'm sure the BCS rankings have that accounted for in their "fair" equation.

On a serious note, lets hope and pray that there weren't a lot of people who didn't try to stick it out in their attics and got trapped. I read that somewhere in mississippi in one apartment complex the residents stayed, and 30 died in one complex. It's sad because this in a sense is our own indonesian earthquake. It was worse there, but pretty much on the same scale in the sense of 20+ foot storm surges over such a large area.

They could relocate to Sun Devil Stadium. No no no, that wouldn't work. What was I thinking? If they wanted to play in a stadium with no air conditioning, over-flowing toilets, and the constant threat of violence they could just stay at the Superdome.
