On the team page, what are the dollar figures in the Mid-Level and Biannual Exceptions column supposed to mean? Evidently they aren't the amounts of those exceptions, since they're off by about a factor of three.

Edit: Also, it's hilarious how every single source out there has a different amount for Nash's buyout.

Perhaps it's the amount that the team is responsible for? Isn't some of that paid by the league or is that only the veteran minimum (is there such a thing?)

The other piece of information that could make that more useful is what the projected luxury tax threshold is.

I wish the whole structure was more simple. I don't have any tangible suggestions of doing it but maybe a hardcap is part of the answer.
