They are 2-3 years away from competing at least anyway.

No line, no receivers, no pro-style experience. I like my chances that he'll be completely demoralized before he has a chance to pan out.

that shoulder is gonna bite him in the ass i think...

wasn't everyone scared of AP's legs too. I would draft the kid in a heartbeat!!! Bradford isn't one of the OU QB's past, he can play & the Lambs have to take the chance.

i thought it was his shoulder/ collar bone? I could be wrong...but if I'm not, there's a big difference between a QB's throwing shoulder and a RB's collar bone injury.

It was the collarbone, but I don't think the difference between the two is all that big. If you break it you are out.

I think this kid is going to be a very good QB - I'm a big fan of precision passers and this guy gets the ball where it needs to go and does with great timing

he'll need seasoning to learn the pro-style game and will have to bulk up and learn how to fall

definitely some serious coaching will need to be done - but all the tools are there

What's Bradford's injury?

If it's to his throwing shoulder, you bet the injury is more of a lasting concern than a collarbone break is for a RB.

Just as I wouldn't be as worried about an knee injury to a pocket passer as I would be for a RB. It's an injury to the players' money-maker. I think that's always more of a concern.

Unless the Rams get McNabb.
If the Rams get McNabb I think that's makes for the perfect storm for Bradford. McNabb is only going to play for a few more years--just the right amount of time to get Bradford where he needs to be. Despite the early success of QBs like Flacco and Ryan, I'm still a believer that a QB should sit at least a season before he gets thrown to the wolves.

With McNabb's ego, I don't think he signs with Rams if he knows Bradford is the pick.

BTW, who is Keith Null? :D

Sando wrote earlier the Bradford broke his collarbone twice on tackles from Big XII linebackers and wideouts. I can't wait for Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett to introduce this kid to the NFL.

Someone should send him some video of what ADub did to Trent Edwards.

Bradford is the second coming of Peyton Manning. The guy will give us all we can handle for the next ten years. So what. We have Beanie. We have Leinart ready to step up to the plate. And most importantly, we have Wiz.
