Adrian Wilson is a shell of his former self. He has been abused two weeks in a row.

Yep, all the way down to losing a fumble right before crossing the goal line.

That started a rant about 50 or 60 seconds long with a stream of consciousness dump that my family is still laughing about, they want me to warn them next time so they can youtube it.

Up by 14 and with 5 minutes and change and the ball, I figured their chances of winning at around 50%.

As many strips in that situation that we've seen this year, you think Rhodes would have been far more careful.

Yup, same ole cards that came off a super bowl and 2 division titles... same ole cards that lost a HOF QB and basically 3 borderline pro bowlers.

What an ignorant, worthless thread. Same ole fans IMO.

ehhh. We're Cards fans, you shouldn't be surprised anymore. I'm more concerned that Ken Whisenhunt just got outcoached big time by Brad Childress. Normally I'd say the more games the Cards lose from here on the better because of draft position, but I just see this team using their 5th overall pick on some 5'3" 135 pound QB from Sticksville State College because he has great intangibles.

LOL.

I had the same thought, but it went more like, what jackass stupid way can they dream up to lose this one?

In the scheme of things this was very mundane as far as creative ways to lose.

I'm so pissed at the pieces of trash I see on the field

I don't get it. Do we have talent or don't we?

Uhm, no. This isn't the same ol' cards that came off a SB and two division titles. Those cards would wipe the mat with these guys, easily. Unless you haven't noticed, this team has been making mind-numbingly bad mistakes and the ball is no longer bouncing their way as it did during our "glory days."

Beginning to think we "lucked" into a lot of that. We sucked a lot of the last two seasons (blown out many times during our SB run for example) but caught some breaks or just sucked a little less than our opponents.

Thread is fine.

Worse, I can barely watch again this year! I have always been hard core and optimistic.

I'm disgusted with Ken Whizenhunt and his generalship of this team. He really sucks this year and all the crap I complained about these last few successful years have caught up all at once.

Playoffs cover up alot of stench. but lack of run game commitment, playing 2nd tier "favorite players over blue chip talent" is frankly dispicable.

Defense is wore out wore down and injured, while the offense can't find it's az with both hands. If it wasn't correctable i would say same ole Cardinals.

It is and Whiz is the problem! He is over his head, get in some personell help like Marty S. or Cower as advisor, anybody Whiz might listen too!

He gets kicked in the groin repeatedly and blinks twice same ole calculated response. win lose or draw.

Matt leinart was not only the best player on the Cardinals this preseason with Fitz hurt, He was the best Head Coach! that's why he wanted cut,

The gates of heaven didn't open up and let him in, The gates of Hell opened up and let Matt out!

They're Baaaack... Time for Skelton... it can't be worse...maybe they should hire Warner for the rest of season as OC... and send Davis back to the 49ers

Uhhm no. We shed that tag 4 years ago, its same ole fans like you that make absurd posts like this to rally the darkside. Im sorry you were duped into believing this wasnt going to be a rebuilding year. But you only have yourself to blame because it was quite obvious to me the day KW packed it up.

Josh, in your opinion how many years after that run can we start complaining?

I'm interested in this answer also, since I've already started I don't want to be guilty of premature whining.

I will wait for official word to come down before resuming.:D

screw them

2nd that....This team doesnt care..and why would you when you make 5 million a year. I mean how many here would care if you lost. You go home in your BMW and sit in your pool and relax in a million dollar home. No motivation. And WHIZ is the WORST COACH WE HAVE EVER HAD. Because we have talent. This team is a joke...and WHiz will look at the Rhodes play and the THT drop..which would have won the game. But man Whiz you have to adjust during the game!!!!

Hilarious, but all too true.

Whis' obsession with underdogs has screwed this team.

Theres a huge difference between complaining and calling our cardinals "the same ole cards". I think you know how touchy that name is for alot of cardinals fans. Donald knew that and thats why he did it.

My wife asks me, "Hey, you are winning with 5 minutes left, why aren't you cheering?"

I replied back with, "You really don't know this team do you?"

It is like 2001 up in this motha!!!

Josh...NO the staff and FO could have went afte NUMEROUS options....But for whatever reason we got DA and cut MAtt.....I blame that sqaurely on the FO and COaching staff....Then you see we have bad QB's and Whiz coaches like he has Warner still here....He doesnt adjust...he doesnt coach to our strengths...WARNER carried him and in 2 years WHiz will be a OC for Detroit. He is a joke.

Rebuilding what? We're not really developing any young players outside of Keith and Toler. Washington is on the bench so Lenon and Hayes can play out their careers. Our only real OLBs are in their mid-30s. Our QB situation is no clearer than it was in week 1. This season is simply lost.

No freaking kidding. I talked to my dad at the half and he said "Wow. That sounds good." I said "We'll see" cause you just never freaking know.

Prevent defense or no defense at all when we're up. QB taking, what, five sacks in the final minute of regulation/OT?

I wouldn't even call these guys the same old Cards. I usually expected to lose with the team from back in the day. I expect, perhaps foolishly, this team to win when they are leading at the end of the 4th. This hurts more than the same old Cards cause we have been to the promised land and now we know what we are missing.

:bang:  :bang: Repeat.
