I said "Wait for it...." she left and called back later to give me an "I told you so"

It's terrible knowing what's going to happen next with the Cards. I told my son when the Viks got called for the penalty after Farve's QB sneak on 3rd and 1 that Minnesota would score on the next play because that's what always happens after one of our opponents gets moved back and replays 3rd down.

At no time did I feel certain we would win this game. This team has a different feel from the past couple of years. They have reverted to the same ol' days, and now so has y optimism. Until they prove me wrong, I will expect them to eff it all up.

Same thing from my wife... I said "Wait for it...." she left and called back later to give me an "I told you so"...than I broke the news "We Suck Again!" she could not believe it...what a joke of a D we ran when the game is on the line...

Funny, my wife was even more certain of the loss than I was. She wouldn't even watch the last 4 minutes. Got up and left for the overtime. Damn, I love her.

It is the same old Cards when so many long time fans are calling what is going to happen ahead of time. Sadly that just started the last 4 weeks.

More futility:

Hightower 7 runs of 1 yard or less
LSH 4 carries for 0 yards
Beanie 1 carry for -2 yards.

28 sacks in 8 games.

Like many of us thought at the start of the season it was going to be really rough with the complete makeover of the offensive line.

The sad thing is, I think if we decided to come out and pound the rock like we did in that SB run in the playoffs, we would have a good to very good running game. The problem is that Whiz refuses to stop calling a gunslinger offense. People are giving him a pass in playcalling because he has no confidence in his QB. If he has no confidence in his QB, then WHY IN THE HELL is he calling the same offense that WARNER ran?!?!?!

Sorry Duck, that yelling wasn't directed at you :)

That is a valid question. I think we all assumed our offensive playcalling would change the minute that Warner retired, obviously we were WAY off base.

We need a strong willed OC in the worst way. Someone who isn't afraid to tell Whisenhunt the truth. A good front office will MAKE that happen this offseason if Whisenhunt resuses...in a perfect world Whisenhunt will admit he needs help and will not have to be forced to do it though.

Oh we need a new DC too...but that is a little OT here LOL
