I'm surprised people saw it that way. Having Boldin and MAtthews they are good to go at WR.

LOL. Anquan Boldin was 41st in DVOA last season with a pretty good QB in Matt Stafford. Jordan Matthews was 71st in DVOA.

Zay Jones is gonna have to produce early.

They both are decent WRs and they replaced a guy who you yourself wouldnt last for over 4 games so they upgraded. I stand by my statement. Swapping out an always injured WR for Boldin is not throwing in a towel.

I worry about Sammy Watkins on the Rams about as much as I worry about Tavon Austin on the Rams. Besides, I like a tough division as it pushes the team to get better and not be complacent.

This. Not sure why people are so up in arms about Watkins to the Rams. At best, this increases their win total by 1? If Goff doesn't develop, and the o-line continues to be a sieve, it doesn't matter who's catching passes. I think the Bills won this trade, though it does highlight how much of a disaster it was to trade up in the draft to take Watkins.

Goff is showing signs of improvement. The Rams have addressed the offensive line (dumped Greg Robinson, signed Andrew Whitworth).

I expect a much better Rams team under the new coaching staff. They have the talent. A lot will hinge on Goff.

I don't think Gaines is all that good but the 2nd rd pick is a different story. I agree it's a dumb move for a 1 year rental. They needed a wr though. Woods is going to be their #1 but he is more of a slot receiver. They have Austin but Fish never used him correctly.
