Heard oon the radio this week that Coach Mac is on the short list for the SDSU job. Personally, I hope he gets it. He'd be a hell of a college coach, IMO.

The other notable coach mentioned was Rick Nuhiesel (sp?).

Dave MacGinnis IMHO would be a great college coach. Perfect demeanor for the job and a good change of pace for the Aztecs from their last coach. This pipeline of ex NFL coaches to the NCAA is in vogue. Great for recruiting, since every HS kid thinks he can play in the NFL. I am guessing Dave would be a very good closer come recruiting time.
