I think way to many people are selling us short(I know they always do) But our schedule and talent can easily gives us 10 wins.

Good points, but remember this: the Raiders aren't the guaranteed win Raiders that have been playing the last few years, beating Carolina has been a challenge for forever & winning in KC & a potential weather game isn't a cakewalk.

The so called are experts are selling us short for legit reasons: questions at QB, unstable Oline, losses of many good vets, potential holes in our entire LB'er corp & a suspect pass defense. The Big Red could win anywhere from 6 to 10 games (max) this year IMO.

BTW, If we don't get at least 10 more passing TD's than Int's from the QB position, we aren't sniffing the playoffs!!!

Don't see how we can use the schedule as an advantage over the 49ers. Remember they have basically the same schedule, except that instead of Minnesota and Dallas, they have Green Bay and Philadelphia. They have just as many winnable games.

They have to play US twice though. :)

Really, though, they only have 7 home games (1 in London). The Cards travel 18,068 miles this season; the 49ers travel 33,264 miles.

True but I am just saying that we can win 10 games. San Fran may win more but 10 wins should get us in the playoffs.

I wouldn't be so confident that a wildcard spot will come from the NFC West, especially with Vikings/Packers, Saints/Falcons, and Cowboys/Eagles in the other divisions. All four divisions could realistically have two 10 win teams this year.

I could easily see us going 10-6 and missing the playoffs.

Great job Campos, I hope you're right. Using your logic though of throwing in an upset or two, it goes both ways, I'm not sure we go 4-0 against the Rams and Seahawks this year (3-1).

One other thing, I have to play BIM, sorry... it is A LOT two words; the second use of alot put me over the edge:)

I don't follow Sando that closely, but my perception is that, at least, he does his homework - he visits the division teams, talks to folks close to the teams etc.

What I don't respect are (for example) the national staffs for USA Today and Gannett who in this morning's predictions, alluded to (a) Roberts being our big dark horse, (b) it only being a matter of time this season before Max Hall takes over for Derek Anderson and (c) everyone across the board picking the Niners to win the division (with the exception of one stupido with the audacity to pick the Seahawks).

Roberts? Are you kidding me: Roberts? (Nothing about Steven Williams. Nothing about Max Komar. They've annointed this dude - who was injured most of the preseason and, before that, displayed somewhat suspect hands -a budding star). Give me a break!

Unlike Sando, most of these guys spend all their time reading each others' stuff instead of seeing for themselves.

Sadly this is across the board in all national media, how hard is it to get outside the circle and educate yourself? I guess if they're getting paid they'll take the path of least resistance.

On a side note, the guy calling the Card's pre-season home games (I'm sure ex player, don't remember his name) provided excellent insight about the intricacies of individual plays and technique. Love to hear this guy on a national level.
