Ugh - what terrible location/timing with All Star Weekend being in Phx this year. I really hope he's gone. Needs to happen this weekend, so the team can reset and focus on the second half and making the playoffs.

Who is going to snap first at the relentless media questions and speculation and spill or insult someone in the organization this weekend?

1.Porter will snap and go on a rant.
2.Sarver will say something dumb which will cost mucho dinero later.
3.Kerr will lie, play dumb because he is supposed to at this time

of course sarver wont say they fired Porter if its still work in progress
otherwise the media would be going crazy and not focus on ASW

there's too much rumbling going on for him not to be fired. it isn't like a trade scenario where it takes two parties to agree. all it takes is kerr/sarver.

monday morning it will prolly be official if not leaked before then.

It wouldn't cost the Suns that much (relatively) to fire Porter as his third year is not guaranteed. So I think there is a good chance Porter may be let go especially since Gentry could take over as the interim coach.

Porter signed a three-year contract in June, but the third season is not guaranteed, meaning a firing would cost the Suns about $2 million for his salary next season.

It seems to me that Phoenix has a great deal of talent on the court (Stoudemire, Nash, O'Neal, Barbosa, etc...) and there is no reason for a team with players of that caliber to lose as often as the Suns are losing.

I'd speculate that if we had a better coach, we'd be at least 3 or 4 in the west right now.
