Okay, I'll make some calls after work and see what people can give us. I am thinking of starting around 6 p.m. and figure we will have 20 to 30 people. Sound about right?

Well, if I say 6 p.m. then people will be there by 7 p.m.

count me in as 1...The Mrs and little one couldnt make it because of school, so I am solo Looking forward to meeting you guys. I might try to sewwt talk someone into inviting me to there tailgate party....of course, I would be more than happy to throw some $$$ into the kitty.

I have a few no-gos and a few messages in to some managers of places out at Westgate. I hope to have something nailed down by the end of today, possibly tomorrow morning.
Looks like things will kick off at 6:30 p.m.

I hope this thing goes on late. I am coming to Phoenix. I secured a ticket today, so with the late plans my flight doesn't arrive in Phoenix until 8 PM Saturday night. I should be able to get there by 10PM.

Not a bad idea ryanwb, I'll be at Westgate myself... but organize yourself a party on Mill Ave or at a sports bar somewhere.
Even if no one has a reserved spot for us Wendy, don't forget the patio at Yardhouse is open seating and we can just pile in.

Place: Gordon Biersch at Westgate
Time: 6:30 on (told them we'd likely be there for three hours or so, with people coming and going)
Deal: We have a spot reserved for 25 to 30 people. They'd like me to get them a better number, so please let me know if you plan to attend and what time you might be showing up.
The reservation is under ASFN.
Also, they have agreed to do separate checks, but because we are under one reservation, an 18% gratuity will be added to each bill.
Hope this works for you guys. I called many places at Westgate and GB was the only one that would accomodate us (though all the other places were super nice, so please feel free to stop in and see them on Sunday or some other time).

Just wondering for those who know the place better, i gather this is pretty close the UoP? if thats the case is there a stadium tour i can do through the day on saturday or cards team shop etc?
i will be there early i guess so if anyone is going to be in the area before 6.30 let me know and we can talk all thing cards or a nice cup of hot tea

After the minor setbacks you were having, I was really hoping that you would be there. I'm very excited that you are.
Wendy, were you able to get a hold of anyone from the media? Do you want me to give it a shot?
I'm contacting the media today. Just wanted to get a better idea where everyone was coming in from and how many we might have. Love that English will be there. That's a story in itself!
