Well, that's an idea that sounds like it has some merit...

18 minutes and ticking. Dang! This is exciting!

...15...:)

What are we hoping for? A home opener in Week 1? Some national play?

First home game is week 2 against the Pats.

No night games, no national games.

Yikes, It's a tough start - two of the first three games are in a dome & Pats at home in week two. No night games. I don't like it. No sir.

Only one stretch of back-to-back home games. OUCH!

Everything else is home/away/home/away

We're gonna get thrown into the fire at the start of the season. Might as well get the hard part of the schedule over early and if we survive, we can make a good run at the play-offs, especially with 4 out of the last 6 games at home.

This team could easily start the season 1-3. It's curtains after a start like that.

The easiest part of the schedule is pre-season :( .

To be honest they could easily start 0-4

Yeah, but I think that I'd put the odds at beating either St. Louis or New Orleans at about 50/50. It'll be three teams that don't play defense in the technical sense of the word. Anyone can win a shootout.

I can also see 2-3 going into the bye week.

If the Cards can grind out a heat exhaustion victory vs NE then things should be OK going into the bye. The NE game sticks out as a possible unexpected victory.
