Winter Super Teams are on their way, but before we get there, we need help from our readers.
This year, our readers will help determine our players of the year in every sport.
Much like we did with the Male and Female Athletes of the Year, our readers will have a say in who our Players of the Year are. We've cut down the list of the best of the best into an even more elite group (no easy task). We limited each school to a maximum of one candidate.
Vote for our High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Reader votes will make up 25% of the tally, with Sports Editor Laurie Los Lee making up the rest of the vote.
Voting will conclude on Friday, April 25.

He also had double doubles against Abington (29 points and 12 rebounds), Franklin (28 points and 11 rebounds) and Dartmouth (23 points and 11 rebounds.
The four-year varsity member surpassed 1,000 career points this season, finishing with 1,411. He also had 1,015 rebounds, 373 steals and 406 assists in his career which included back-to-back Mayflower Athletic Conference and State Vocational championships. Finney was Old Colony’s Dave Cowens Award nominee.
