Spike TV presents the fourth annual "SCREAM," the first and only global event of its kind to honor the best in sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic genres. Taping on Saturday, October 17 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA, "SCREAM 2009" celebrates the hottest films, tv shows, comics, actors, creators, icons and pioneers who have influenced and shaped the industry. This year's show will also continue the tradition of featuring exclusive World Premieres from some of the most anticipated movies of 2010. The two-hour extravaganza will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT).

The site already has the winners posted. Some lame nominations that do not fit the categories in many cases, IMHO.

How the heck does Eli Roth get onto the Esteemed members of this year’s advisory board list. It is like an SAT question who on this list does not belong

Wes Craven
Tim Burton
Eli Roth

That alone makes this award show a joke along with putting anything that has to do with "The Spirit" getting nominated.

Although I am very glad "Dead Snow" was on the list for best Horror. A good movie no one knows about.

Please tell me Robert Pattinson did not win for best actor?

Wow, not only did he win, but the funniest win of the night goes to Megan Fox for Best SIFI Actress. SIFI genre is in deep crap if thats your best actress.

Did you guys really expect a balanced, well informed, unbiased, not motivated by blockbusters and big studio money, award show from SPIKE?

Honestly I'm shocked that show didn't have more integrity and sincerity, SPIKE is such a deep thinking network...

Hehe, sorry for the sarcasm but you guys really shoulda known better!
