'Scrubs' to air on Comedy Central

LOS ANGELES, -- The NBC comedy "Scrubs" will start airing on cable's Comedy Central in the fall of 2006, it was reported Monday. Comedy Central has picked up all four seasons that have already aired as well as the fifth season, which gets under way later this year, the Hollywood Reporter said. Comedy Central's Senior Vice President of Programming David Bernath said although he usually focuses on original programming, "Scrubs" "fits perfectly" with the network. Financial details of the deal were not revealed. "Scrubs" is produced by Walt Disney's Touchstone Television.

I LOVE this show! I love how well the characters play off of each other. Dr. Cox kills me!

Wow, the two shows tonight were HILARIOUS...

Turk: "You haven't slept naked in a hammock yet?"

JD: "I'm still afraid of dragonflies..."

FDL!

I finally started watching old episodes on DVD...AMAZING!!! My favorite show ever is M*A*S*H, and this is kind of like a modern-day M*A*S*H with a twist.

Yeah, that's what it's been compared to.

The two episodes last night were hilarious.

This and The Office are my two favorite sitcoms, and Scrubs has been my favorite ever since it started.

Loved the Ninja scene!

My favorite is in the episode where Turk is being used as a posterboy for minorities, and JD tries to comfort him with the theme song from Sanford and Son. That had me ROLLING!!!

Got the first two seasons on DVD, if there's a finer way to drop $60 then I don't know what it is.

Not true, that's the best way I'd spent $30. Ten for cover for me and my wife (intent to prove she was "one of the guys") the rest, on lapdances... for her!

and if I have to rank the best ways I'd spent any denomination?
That story there was #1!

Hmm, okay you can hang... Although I don't really understand. Isn't taking a woman to stripclub like taking a hamburger to McDonalds???

Just kidding...

But back on the subject: SCRUBS Rocks. Almsot as much as Doogie Hoswer MD when he used to write in his journal...

What was Doogie's buddies name? I was really envious of their great spider-man costumes. I was too poor to have one like that. I had to make my own. It was a red sweatshirt with a black spider in the middle scratched in by magic marker.

But I guess on a doctor's salary...

I love this show, they are showing two eps each weeknight on CC and I'm trying to catch each one. I never got into the show when it was on NBC but I really enjoy eaqch character, especially Dr. Cox, and each storyline.

From EW.com:

Earlier this morning, I pried an awesome tidbit out of Bill Lawrence: Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura on Heroes) has long had a recurring role on Scrubs as Franklyn, a worker in the blood lab. The Scrubs producers want to bring him back this season, but with his powers from Heroes intact! That, my friends, is two great tastes that taste great together.

I've been catching the re-runs on Comedy Central and TBS and I must say, this show is ridiculously funny. I might have to look into getting the seasons on DVD if this laughter continues!
