I'm new here, I live up here in Seattle, and I just love how a lot of Seahawk fans I know are already basically "guaranteeing" an NFC West title, and how they are one of the top teams in the NFC...

I would just love it if the Cards and even the Niners can shut them up...

Jim Mora Jr. is a huge stepdown from Mike Holmgren.IMO
Jim Mora Jr. was terrible in SF, was terrible in ATL, and will be terrible in Seattle.IMO

I still don't know why everyone thinks Seattle has no shot at the NFC West. They were PLAGUED with injuries last year and have won almost every year before this. We have one good year. To think they have no chance is almost a joke. If healthy they will be very very tough. And you know we are going to be in everyones scope when we play them, especially Seattle. It will be a very tough road this year but one I think is possible.

Seattle will be a better team, I think they will be...

but fans' expectations for them this year are so ridiculous

they really do believe they are locks for the NFC West and that they will make a deep run in the playoffs

I agree wholeheartedly!! Losing Holmgren is HUGE. A coach like Holmgren means at least 2 more wins, maybe even 3. Even if they are 100% healthy, I see this team at best winning 8 games. The Cardinals may have a bullseye on their back, but we are 2-3 games better than Seattle, with or without injuries. Whiz will outcoach Mora big-time.

seahawk fans know how tough it is to even get to the playoffs after appearing in the superbowl (after all, they're the only team in like the last decade to do it)

i don't see them being dominant by any means, but I also think that rumours of their demise have been greatly exagerated and I'll just leave it at that as there is nothing that can be said or shown until the actual season starts

it will be a fun one though
