Deebo gone as well.

Now we just need the Rams to lose Cooper Kupp.

I wouldn't want us to pay the hefty price tag for Metcalf. It is just good SEA's def coach is gutting their WRs.

Lockett is definitely a leader and a teacher. Couldn't imagine he would want that much.

He is aging though.

The Seahawks still have JSN who broke out in his 2nd season. They are probably better off moving on from Lockett and Metcalf.

The Niners are probably better off moving off of Deebo's big contract as well .

Same thing goes for Moving off of Kupps big contract and his age. Puka is a superior option to Kupp at this point.

Seahawks falling apart.. 49ers selling off, Rams are a giant question mark... This is our time... Paging Dr. Monti.
Even if we could sign the top 5 non QB free agents, we would still have a worse roster than all our division rivals. The free agents this year are disappointing.

IMO with so many changes the NFC West division will be up for grabs. There is no dominant team. What the Cards do in free agency and the draft are critical for the success going forward.

Seattle's coach came from the Ravens. Its going to be defense and run the ball. DK is kinda high maintenance too and in the last year of the contract. Obvs they have no plans to give him a new one -- and that can be a distraction

Plus all three will be working hard to get better through FA and the draft.

2025 won't be a cakewalk to the division title by any means.

But neither do we have a PHI or BUF in the West either. We've got a chance.

All the ARZ leaders need to put on their big boy pants to make it happen though.

Lockett is one of my all-time favorites, his cap hit for next year was going to be around $31m

This move is not a surprise to anyone - he was pretty much saying goodbyes his last could of weeks.

Outside chance he comes back on a much smaller deal. New family, local real estate business, etc

I could also see him going to a team like the Chiefs to chase another ring

Again though, this is far from such news. He's definitely on the back last but if his career and hasn't been super impactful for 2 seasons and was set to get paid top 5 money

DK is entering the last year of his deal. Three is always some level of noise around the guy, but I'm also guessing contract negotiations aren't going to his liking. GB made an offer during the combine and I wouldn't be shocked if there was some level of extension talk with a figure higher than what Seattle wants to do.

Organization is a little frustrated with the leak as they wanted to give Tyler his light

I'm not that pessimistic. Yeah, there are no big names apart from the ones currently being cut from their teams, but there is a large group of second tier players available.

We have a couple of positions where we have fringe/below average starters. Replace those with a player that is somewhere between 8-12 at his position and you have a quality upgrade.

This is a Keim PTSD in a lot of us. Big name players combined with crap doesn't make a good team. Fix the crap and expect the young players to develop into big name players

And maybe identify a couple free agents who are not being utilized to their strengths so far in the nfl who may fit our system better

How about our human snail GM just draft some big name players? I forgot, he tends to pass on them.
