I swore that game winning wobbler by O'Donahue was going to miss even though I knew the result. That was 2 weeks after the missed FG fest in the Monday night tie against the Giants.
They didn't show Dave Krieg getting sacked for a safety after the go ahead FG.

Good stuff man. Would that Lomax could be reincarnated into today's pass-happy NFL. He would be unstoppable.

Also, couldn't help noticing a big game by Oklahoma City's own Steve Largent. One of the more prolific receivers in NFL history.

It amazes me that Roy Green's numbers weren't better. He's just below being a hall of famer but for a time he was probably #2 behind Jerry Rice.

Yeah, the guy only retired with what something like 7 receiving records while playing a good chunk of years under a coach that went by ground Chuck with passes launched by a small handed fumble machine of a QB from a college that doesn't even currently exist that was nicknamed mudbone

Well you swayed me. Rice, Largent and Moss are the only unanimous WR HOF.

This is a must watch video!! A few comments:

1 - Although the origin Harden hit drew a fine from the league office, I don't think there was a flag thrown. Nowadays that hit would get you the electric chair.

2 - Largent's revenge hit, although great, may not have withstood replay as it seemed like perhaps the "ground caused the fumble".

No issue with Largent being a unanimous HOF'er, he was legit.
