We're going to regret dropping those games to Pittsburgh and St. Louis at the end of the year. I really hate the matchups in this one outside of our defensive line vs. Seattle's.

That said, Carson Palmer can prove a ton to me by avoiding turnovers against this secondary.

Interesting.

The only way I see Seattle scoring 27 pts is if the Cardinals give them a short field, at least twice in the game. Not saying that it cannot happen, and but I will say that will have to happen for the Hawks to put up 27.

JMHO.

We are one of the worst fumble-happy teams, it will be wet, and the Hawks hit hard. I can see that happening.

I like our WR matchup vs whoever Cary Williams will be guarding.

That's why I think Seattle will not lock Sherman onto one WR this game. Of our top 3 WRs, John Brown would give Sherman the most trouble IMO. Since Williams is torchable by Floyd or Fitz, you might as well just run the defense and hope to rattle Palmer with hits rather than forcing specific matchups.

I'm thinking Gunter has a big day. Wilson will get to the outside multiple times which could well be the Cards undoing.

Supposed to be mid 40's and raining but palmer says he likes to play in that weather. He's done it often and he says he has big hands(his words) and he is fine with throwing a wet football.

You would think Wilson being shorter would have an issue but he apparently has huge hands too so both guys say they have no issue with a wet football.

Hopefully the RB's are careful in the weather.

Yeah I'm really worried about the weather. If it's wet, that doesn't bode well for us. Turnovers and short fields could lead to a slightly higher scoring game. You know the Cardinals will turn it over at least twice. Hopefully, we get at least one out of the Chickens.

It'll be interesting to see how prepared the rookies are as far as containing Wilson. Every year, the rookies on D get juked really bad the first time we play them. I guess it's something you have to experience in person before it truly sinks in. With that said, I would put the over and under on rookie on Wilson wiffs at 2 for Golden and 1 for Gunter.

I do like that everybody in the media is picking Seattle to win. That means we have a chance. I say 24-20 Cards.

I haven't read much on the hags this year but I thought that was how they were built. In other words, Sheman guarded the guy that came his way. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I just heard on the radio that the feeling is that Lynch won't play.

Take it for what it's worth.

Where? Read the opposite all over twitter.

I remember when Lynch had stomach problems last season in the second game against us. Didnt stop him from grabbing his crotch in the end zone.

Hard to see the Hawks putting up 27 points, unless the Cards have a ton of turnovers and/or the Seattle has a few special teams scores...
That doesn't mean the Cards will win if none of that happens. I have serious concerns about Wilson and what he can/will do outside the pocket. And I'll go out on a limb here :)sarcasm:) and say that Jimmy Graham will most likely have a big game - something like 10 catches for 140-150 yards...

Actually they never put Sherman onto the main WR as much as they have this year. Typically, they have kept him on one side of the field.

if this team wants the number 2 seed, it's gotta win games like this after giving away two much more winnable games in Pitt and at home against the Rams.

Based on the Cardinals' recent history and what Graham himself has done vs. the Cards, your sarcasm is warranted. But based on how the Cardinals have performed against tight ends so far this year, you really would be going out on a limb.

The Cardinals are #4 in yards allowed to TEs (308), #1 in yards per catch allowed (8.11), and #2 in TDs allowed (1). This is despite ranking 18th in number of times opponents have targeted tight ends.

They're doing something right!

Of course, having Wilson and Lynch to worry about could certainly force the Cardinals to change things up and leave the door open for Graham and Willson to make the Cards look like they did vs. TEs last year.

I think Graham will have a big part of this game. We have had a recent history of being terrible against TE's, but have been great this year.

One game good or bad at this point won't change that we have played much better this year.

That said, I think with the bye week, and with the idea that some teams hold stuff back for the division games... and the seahawks HAD to think that we were their greatest threat coming into this year... I think Graham has a great chance to have an amazing game against us.

Not because we don't have the ability to stop them, just because it can happen with a talented person Graham is, and you have an offense that might be willing to sell out to get him the ball. If anything, I think this is Graham's potential coming out party.

But that might not be enough to save them. He might score two...even three TD's... I still think we have a chance to score 3-5 TD's on offense.

They have not been big scorers this season. Three TD's can win this game, so I think we have a great chance.

Remember our last game in Seattle was 35-6 with 4th string Ryan Lindley who had never completed a TD pass in 7 previous games. On the flip side, in 2013, when Palmer started, he threw 4 INT's in what might be his worst game, and yet we won, IN Seattle.

It'll also be interesting to see if Lynch plays.

This is where we find out if this team has a set a balls or they are a bunch of powderpuff girls that don't want to break a nail.

I just don't trust our team when they are on this large of a stage. They will have to prove that they can win a big boy football game before I change that opinion.

Stats from NFL.com show that it has hurt his coverage as well. ;)

Patrick Peterson 2015 in coverage: 43.2 completion percentage allowed, 1 TD allowed, 2 INTs, 34.5 passer rating

Richard Sherman 2015 in coverage: 57.6 completion percentage allowed, 2 TD allowed, 0 INTs, 110.5 passer rating
