The big move the Seattle Seahawks made in the offseason was the addition of quarterback Sam Darnold. However, the addition of Darnold didn't stop Seattle from picking a huge bargain when it was presented to them in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft. Seattle went on the clock with the No. 92 overall pick and took former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Milroe is far and away the most athletic quarterback in this draft and one of the best runners at quarterback we've seen in many years. Milroe also boasts a powerful arm, able to show nice touch on the deep ball and put plenty of zip on those difficult intermediate throws.

Milroe is far from a finished product as a passer but his ceiling is the highest of any quarterback in this draft, including Cam Ward who went No. 1 overall. Milroe now heads to Seattle where he plays for new head coach Mike MacDonald. MacDonald comes from the Baltimore Ravens where he coached the defense that went against Lamar Jackson at practice the last two years. This makes him uniquely qualified to scout a unique talent like Milroe.
