The Seattle Seahawks are entering the 2025 NFL draft needing to add at least one instant contributor at wide receiver. General manager John Schneider has revamped the room this offseason, essentially swapping DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett for Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. One potential target is Washington State's Kyle Williams, who the Seahawks hosted on a pre-draft visit according to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Seahawks reporter Corbin K. Smith managed to confirm that Williams does NOT count as a local visit for the Seahawks. Seattle used one of their "top 30" designations on Williams as a result. It indicates legitimate interest in the fast-rising receiver prospect from Pullman.
Williams was dynamic and productive for the Cougars this past campaign. The former UNLV transfer was a workhorse, accumulating 70 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024. It was a career-best season for Williams who now enters the 2025 NFL draft with real momentum at his back.
Williams was also impressive at the NFL Combine. The Inglewood, California native ran a 4.40 at Lucas Oil Stadium with a 1.55 10-yard split. Williams also leaped a 36.5 inch vertical and 9-foot-11 broad jump. Williams possesses a dynamic enough release package to play "X" receiver in Klint Kubiak's new offense for starting quarterback Sam Darnold.
