To bad the Titans and Jets have offered him a contract as well. It might be a little to late for Seattle.

see, and this is where we end up not really making up ground on seattle. they lose guys (okeafor and lucas) but pickup slight downgrades (de from rams and dyson) and upgrade with a sharper. we put ourselves in a bind at two spots (rb and cb) and haven't done anything to shore those up, depending, apparently upon the draft. now i trust hunk a lot, but i watch what the seahawks have done (kept hasselbeck, alexander, and walter jones as well as effectively bandaided free agent losses and even adding sharper) and i think, "hmm, well, seems we're not really making up much ground on the division leader afterall.

yeah - if the Hags sign Dyson, I'd say facing the offseason they were potentially facing, they came away pretty well at the end of the day. Lucas for Dyson is a wash - their D wasn't all that great with both Lucas and Okeafor anyway and both Dyson and Fisher are somewhat comparable players.

Their offense is intact and that's the most important thing. Definitely gonna be a battle with the Hags throughout the season and St. Louis' offense, with Marshal FINALLY taking his rightful place on the bench is gonna be tough to stop as well.

It should be a pretty decent and entertaining division.

I was hoping we could say that we passed them this offseason but they haven't lost much and added Sharper. This draft is going to be very important for us. Fortunately they still don't have recievers who can catch and we've reversed the experience/youth formula with our QB/RB. I think we can win the division next year but I still hope Dyson ends up elsewhere.

personally I think the Hags are way over rated. They were lucky to win the division last year. They haven't gotten any better. I'm not affraid of them at all. They play soft and the Cardinals will rough them up.

I don't believe the Titans have actually made a contractoffer to ADyse. We have been talking with him and may still bring him back in, but I'd consider it a longshot. He may have burnt one too many bridges here when he said "certain coaches don't like me and thought I was soft." Certain coaches had some truth to what they were saying.

I think the Seahawks are at a real turning point. They have managed to keep their talent fairly level. But last season was a real dud compared to their expectations. They're also at a point with Holmgren where players can start to tune out the coach. I thought that was part of their problem last year. If they drop a couple early, the wheels could come off big time IMO.
