This is so, so sad. AP is washed. He couldn't do anything behind the Titans OL, which is below average but still way better than Seattle's. Seattle would have been better off with Lev Bell...at least he can catch dump off passes and help Russ not cook.

Hes less than 300 yard and 4 TD's away from moving up another spot on the all time rankings. I have no idea if those things are important to him since hes already a HOFer....but Seattle season is lost.

I dont know why they would choose to give those carries to Peterson over a younger back trying to earn a spot next year...but I guess they could??

If they give Peterson 20 carries a game for the rest of the season, he will probably meet those markers.

Looking at AP's career records, it sucks so bad he didnt get the single season record in 2012. He finished 7 yards short.

He also had a much better overall season that Dickerson did in his record setting year of 84. Dickerson had 14 fumbles that year!

Peterson averaged 6 YPC in 2012.
