Wow, if there was ever a RB who benefited more from an offensive line..... his name escapes me.

When Hutch left, he looked very average.

If Barry Sanders would have had one of the Alexander's lines during his day, he would have gone off like a mad man.

The real question is who picks him up?

I say the Texans or Chicago

New England. :shiver:

If he'd take a below-market deal, he'd look really good in a San Diego Chargers uniform. Although he'd be an interesting fit with the Cowboys, as well.

I know that's widely believed around here.

2006 was the year Hutch left.

2006 was also the year Alexander signed his monstrous retirement contract and broke his foot in week 3. He missed the next 6 games. He never seemed healthy nor interested after that.

Those things are rarely mentioned but are relevant.

My opinion is that losing Hutchinson had to hurt but Alexander quit playing. Gave up. Had his money, got dinged and quit.

I'm wondering what the camp ramifications are. They must have put alot of that money in salary and roster bonuses to be able to cut him with 4 years left on his deal. Its crazy that he would sign that sort of contract, and then suddenly lose heart and motivation.

Hey Lobo, you enjoying the weather yet?

Lovely here yesterday and today. I hope it rains over the weekend as I am glued to my couch with a box of Capn Crunch in one hand and a case of Anchor Steam Beer in the cooler..I will also lock the basement door, put on a headset to keep the noise out (from the War Department that will have HER list of TO DO's ready).

Will you be coming north to attend the Sox/Cubs World Series this year??

I guess you have the warm season coming up pretty soon..but as those who have been in the sun too long say...it's dry hear (yeah, right).

Enjoy the weekend...should be fun. Don't be too concerned about Q...
