Is it better for Rodgers to finally deliver the death blow to the Seahawks? This at least set us up to do it the following week giving them 7 losses.

If the Seahawks are totally out of it in Nov. maybe they rest Russell Wilson our final game of the season as well.

Or would it be better if the Seahawks win distancing the Packers from us.

Packers can never win a game for the rest of my life for all I care. I feel the same about the Seahags but I'd prefer the Hags to give the Packers another loss. It's up to the Redbirds to put the Hags where they belong and they will do so.

And I still want them to lose to Seattle. Good chance Rodgers doesn’t play for that one too.

I think Rodgers will play. Better an unprepped Rodgers than Love.

Rodgers could probably play great if he just sat and watched Netflix all week.

The NFL won't allow Rodgers to not play vs. Seattle. They took a hit to there star power this week. What a racket they running.

Nah he's supposed to be in the clear by Saturday.
I know he needs to be symptom-free (of course he might just lie about that) but I haven't seen any info regarding whether he also needs two consecutive days of negative tests. If so, that could easily hold him out another week.

Edit: The NFL & NFLPA released a memo with tweaks to the COVID protocols:
The other notable change is to how the league will clear vaccinated players who have tested positive for return to play; those players will take a PCR test daily after their positive test, rather than strictly using a rapid Mesa test. If a player is asymptomatic and within the first six days of his positive test, he can return if he tests negative twice via the PCR test. Between seven and 10 days, the player can return after one negative PCR test and one negative rapid Mesa test.
I would assume that, if anything, the conditions for an unvaccinated player would be the same or more strict. Thus, despite Rodgers saying that he expects to play on Sunday, it remains to be seen whether he'll test negative on time.

Let ‘em tie
Not a bad thought. A tie for the Packers is like a loss for them, at least for how it relates to us. It would essentially render useless their head-to-head win against us in a 2-way tie-breaker, unless we also tie a game or the Packers tie a second game. Also, for Seattle to have a chance to realistically catch us, they’d have to sweep the series, and thus hold the heads-up tie-breaker — also rendered useless with a tie on their ledger.

Yes, 2 negative tests required, plus the 10 days and no symptoms. Saturday at the earliest.

Need a Seattle win. I don't think they have a chance at the division crown and the Packers loss was the most brutal, especially when considering tiebreakers and possibly #1 seed on the line.

No. He doesn’t need to retest. I think non vaccinate players must sit for 10 days. Vaccinated players can come back sooner with 2 negative test.

Why would you not need to test? I know people that have still tested positive post 10 days?

Hey Ron , Rapaport( sp) said Rodgers did not have to retest, but, he had to sit for ten days and show no symptoms. Vaccinated players can come back sooner with 2 negative test.

I know, but as I mention I was shocked to hear Rapaport( sp) report that on GMFB. Maybe he misspoke or I heard him wrong but when he said it I was pissed.

But he’s had symptoms so that would not apply

If Rodgers were vaccinated, he would be allowed to return as long as he produces two negative tests 24 hours in between tests, while also being asymptomatic and being cleared by the team's doctor. He does not need to test negative to return but must be asymptomatic.

Rodgers said yesterday that he's not a lock to play this week, because he's just starting to feel better, implying he did have some covid health issues, and that he has to clear the cardiac testing.

Degree of difficulty beating Seattle at State Farm versus beating Green Bay at Lambeau is a no-brainer.

The real question is who to cheer for (against) on Thanksgiving weekend when the Cardinals have a bye (GB or LA Rams). Maybe a full overtime tie is preferable.

On the flip side if Seattle wins they’re basically the front runner for the 7-seed and will have momentum back with Russ. Cards-Hawks in two weeks would be a massive game for them.
