Seattle fans to boo Thunder against Portland

When the Thunder play the Blazers in Portland next week, some angry Seattle fans plan to attend the game to "boo both teams." The Save Our Sonics group said it has secured blocks of tickets for members at a discounted price.
The leaders are also planning an even bigger trip when the Thunder returns to Portland on April 13.

No kidding. It's not like it's the players' fault. They played hard while they were in Seattle and are a victim of circumstances. Maybe the players should boo the fans instead.

Some people enjoy protesting more so than celebrating. I would say that many of theses fans probably fit into that category.

Its not like the fans have a chance to go inside OKC's owners office and boo them. I'm sure they really boo'ing the players just the owner. I really can't blame them for the way they feel, getting their team pulled away like that. JMO

Even so, there's no sense trying to make the players feel down by booing when, in reality, it all had to do with the ownership and city of Seattle. Go boo at town hall meetings or something, but don't hold the players responsible.

let stern know that everyone still remembers him as a jerk - same with scum sucking clay

a lot of the players from last year aren't there and many who are were against moving to OKC as well .......... however, with what is done is done it's time to be vocal

How are cheering the team and booing them "no different"? I'm having a hard time with this concept.

they're not booing the players - last year they were booing the NBA & mgmt

doing the same thing this year - i personally hope for nothing but failure for that team of which I will not speak

think of it like this - you can boo the lakers jersey, because well they're the lakers, are followed by laker fans, etc ......... you may like a couple of the players on that team, but you boo the jersey

this is different than booing kobe because he slapped one top shelf on some unsuspecting girl in CO - that's booing the player
