Anyone planning on being at the Seattle game? All this talk of tailgating in Pitts is giving the the wanderlust itch (after a healthy dose of pennicilin I should be okay).

I might try to make it up that way for that game--will you be there, yet, Assface?

Yep!

I plan on going with my two brother-in-laws and my wifes uncle.

I will be wearing my AZ Cardinal hat and new E. Smith jersey!

We will be taking the train up from Portland (I will be drinking Bloody Marys!)

I have some friends in Seattle and really thought about going but flights from Az to Seattle were like $480 bucks...plus my wife(another $480) and tickets($200) all before X-mas!

I wouldn't drive up, I'd fly. My dad lives in Seattle, so that's why I've sort of zeroed in on this one.

I'd have to get the a-okay from the wife first. That might be a challenge.

Here's a plan for you Pariah: Give the wifey a nice enexpected gift of an all day pampering at a local spa. Make the reservation for her on the same day as the Seattle game. Make sure to get her the deluxe package of manicure, facial, message - the works. In a few weeks, bring up the idea that since she'll be away at the spa all day anyway and unable to spend quality time with you, that you "might as well zip over to Seattle to catch the Cards game". Might just work like a charm:D

You can get airline tickets on the web for Tucson to Seattle (round trip) for about $250 each / Phoenix to Seattle a bit cheaper.

Dude, you have got to quit buying your airline tickets from the scalpers!:D

I'm leaving Florida a few days after Christmas and I'll be in Phoenix for New Years so I'm going to miss out on that game.

I'll be there next year with an airhorn.

floridacard, Forget the airhorn. Those just piss me off, really. Not you, just a loud-ass airhorn. Try bring your voice--of reason, if you will. Scream, scream and then scream some more...and encourage your neighbor. But whatever you do, forget the airhorn.

Reviving the "Seattle in December" thread. My brother and I are going up to attend the Cards game in Seattle with my dad on December 6...

Will anyone else be in attendance?

also for those flying up - i just bought airfare about two weeks ago through southwest - just over $200 roundtrip - not bad as this route has been going for $400 plus recently on pretty much all airlines - granted i'm going for a different week (week 1), but could keep them in mind - only real problem is that southwest doesn't open their schedule up until a couple months advance
