the big news from Thurs injury report is DK Metcalf going from:
Wednesday - limited... to .... Thursday - DNP.
Leonard Williams continues with DNP.

And you all want to discuss if Kyler is listed as Quarterback 1 on our roster. I just checked again, and for the 6th year in a row, he is our QB.

Anyone care to discuss the Seattle DL and if the Cardinals have an answer to late formation changes presnap? DL shifting positions, changing the call of the Cardinals OL, and if our Oline could successfully change?

In Seattle those Oline changes proved difficult with the noise. I think the Cards at home will handle them just fine.

Take Cardinals alternate line -6.5

The OC is writing the script, the QB still has to perform it.

QB's have 300 yard 2 TD games all the time without playing catch up, it's a pretty low bar target TBH. But sure, I'll settle more Kyler being dominant in a win.

What I don't want to see if another 215 yard 1 TD game where we score 18 points.
Gonna have to open the playbook then.. can’t rely on 1-2 random deep shots a game

This is the most important game of the Gannon era. It's probably the last chance they have at seriously competing for a playoff spot.

A win puts the Cardinals back into first place in the NFC West.

A loss pretty much puts the Cardinals on the outside looking in from a playoff standpoint for the rest of the regular season. They would for the most part have to win out and would need help from several other teams to have a chance at making the playoffs.

I'm honestly less concerned about the playoffs than I am in winning the division. I know they go hand in hand, but it's rare for use to win the division and the opportunity is right there, would suck to blow it.

It will be nice to play January football, but then I'd expect us to get blown out pretty quickly. Can't take that division title away though.

With a roster this young, exposing them to playoff football would be invaluable. That said, meaningful games after Pearl Harbor Day was the ideal in camp.

I'll go a bit further and say I'm less worried about winning the division and more worried about a total collapse. Losing something like 5 of our last 7 games would be a soul crushing end to the season and set the rebuild back by leaps and bounds.

obvs -- that would be terrible

but that more or less happened to the Eagles last year.

Ending the year 8-9 would be disappointing, but I don’t really get how it sets the rebuild back.

Smoke as much weed and eat as many edibles as him before you go at him, bro.
I'm pretty sure I smoke as much but don't do edibles that often. I prefer more old school & smoke flower. I've probably also been smokin weed longer than he's been alive. Unless he was born before 1978. ;)

It's possible we have already seen Kyler's ceiling. For the past two seasons I have been consistently saying this has to be the year for Kyler to prove he can be better. If it doesn't happen this season it's not going to. This is the best Kyler is going to be.
I need to see him with a real #2 WR
