That's bunk...Seattle has been to two consecutive dances and just destroyed the "best" team in the NFC. This is exactly what needed to be avoided.

what needed to be avoided was injuries. we did that. but the ass whooping didn't help for sure.

It may have helped more than it hurt, depending on how they respond. Seattle got beat up by St Louis last week.

:biglaugh:

Throw in the towel cause the seasons over. :p Didn't we destroy that defense in Seattle? ;)

If the Pack wins tonight, they will most likely have to do it again. We play mistake free football & the Hawks will be going home.

Again did you really believe the Sucs were gonna beat Carolina? This team knew the reality of that & played not to get hurt.

I'm impressed by Carolina. Their pass pressure would make them tough to beat. Also noteworthy is the lack of a big, fast Cardinal inside linebacker to shadow Newton, which makes them a tough matchup. However, Seattle is a bigger threat IMO due to their new found offensive strategy. This article details it. As I think back at the plays the Cards have had trouble handling, slowly developing crossing routes and screen passes seem to be the main issues. Most of the Cards' problem comes from having to blitz often. This leaves them more vulnerable especially to screens than most teams. We're still a long way from Seatlle locking up a playoff slot, but the Cards may face an interesting decision in the last game if a win could knock Seattle out of the playoffs!

Is Palmer's finger totally healed? When I have had a dislocated finger it hurt for months. The compound dislocation can still hurt depending on the weather. The forefinger is important in accuracy especially.

I'm sick of the Seattle talk and the hype for them. They were just beat at home the week prior by a horrid St.Louis team that just lost to SF last week.

Seattle beat a Cards team treating game 16 like week 2 of the exhibition season. When it mattered, the Cards smoked them in their place. They worry me none whatsoever.

Yeah I think Seattle is a little too puffed up from beating us when we were clearly not playing. Honestly we were so vanilla it was as though it was instructed by someone *cough Arians*. We played for a few guys to get some records and that was all. I know the Vikings are better than the Rams so they had better be careful. I'm not concerned we all know this team wasn't going even close to 100% on Sunday so let them gloat. Where were they when their season was on the line in their own house... Oh that's right we put up 39 on em...

Exactly. The main things were Fitz's TD and Smokey's 1000 yards and they did it early like they wanted. I thought they may feed Floyd and try to get him to 1000 but once he dropped a pass or two, they forgot about it. If that was ever in play at all anyway.

Seattle will be a tough out for any team, imo.

That's not the Super Bowl Seattle team, this is the let Russell throw it team. Sure they may be a tough out but they just got smacked by a bad Rams team so their not exactly unbeatable. If and that's a big IF they get by a good Vikings team their reward is to go play another physical D in Carolina! If they somehow get by both those teams they will be beat up a bit then have to come to our house... Their road to the bowl is the toughest of anyone in the entire playoffs IMO good luck lol

Not as tough as the NFC West Champions though.

Didn't say they were and I would like nothing more than the Cards to beat them thoroughly, which they will, if given the chance.

Hoping the Seahawks beat Minnesota for two reasons. They have a much better chance than GB or Washington to knock off the Panthers giving AZ home field in the NFCCG. Also I don't like the way Minnesota matches up against us. Bridgewater was moving the ball pretty easily but they fumbled 2-3 times.

Go Seahawks and Skins.

that is of course your/a perception. The Packers are the ones with the most playoff experience..along with Seattle... Seattle is the away team this time going to a Minn. team built just like them.
Seattle is not the home team this time which they have had the luxury of for 2 years.

The Packers are far superior to the Redskins who have no playoff experience worth mentioning aside from beating Seattle 3 years ago

I want Seattle out even if it means going on the road. Sorry but that teams scares the hell out of me. If they get to the NFC title game we will get the super bowl champs not the chumps the Lams beat. Lynch will be 100% back by then to. Just get that team out and fast.

You also didn't think Seattle would make the playoffs and the Cards would finish the season on a 1-3 run...so I wouldn't exactly go patting yourself on the back.

what you fail to understand is it all leads to the same thing.
the Cardinals and Seahawks will not make it to the Super bowl. That is the ultimate point of My picks.
I realized the Seahawks were making the playoffs 3/4 weeks ago so thats a mute point.
I did think the Cards were to drop off earlier.
It doesnt matter. Neither will be in SB 50.
