Good stuff. Yamon, you see this happen to some players when they come in the League. PP was getting drug all over the field when he came in (bad too), but I saw it as a good thing, he made adjustments and then made progress. Some players just never get it going. Massie aint no PP...not yet atleast. And I would give the NFL experience (getting his ass kicked week after week) the credit for Massie's elevation, not Grimm.

GOOD STUFF!

Precisely the reason I was calling nonsense on all those posters looking to move him to guard.

Oh and to think all of that came with Grimm as a coach :)

Should be WAY better!

Exactly. I could see Potter possibly making the move, but why in the hell would you move Massie to guard when he is playing so well at RT?

I don't thin Massie or Potter were ever an option at guard. If true they wouldn't of drafted not one but two Guards.

That was all draft bs imo.

So did Massie make the improvement all by himself or did Grimm actually coach him up some? Probably more credit goes to Massie.

I'm still concerned about Levi coming back from injury but didn't we see a similar story about him playing lights out the 2nd have of the season in 2011 at LT? I'm drunk on the koolaid right now thinking about how good the Oline could be this year.

Certainly does appear to be the case. Although it did get some posters all worked up about the IQ of our FO at that time. :D

SO this begs the question.. if the o-line is as good as it's "supposed" to be, or even better.. does that put us above 6 wins if the rest of the team is the way it is?

If the Oline is as good as it's supposed to be then at least 8 wins IMHO.

I'm not even that concerned about the Safety position any more, just OLBer pass rusher appears weak on paper.

All the talk about Massie and his improvement is good.Don`t forget about Nate Potters play at LT.Not too bad for a 7th rounder.Potters played pretty good for his draft status .Nice to have TWO young improving tackles instead of retreads.

Will be interesting to see how improved the o-line will be now that Grimm is gone...

I thought the same. Potter looked pretty damn good IMO. But he's still got some learning to do

as far as Massie and this article. I remember reading one similar from them last year. And it foreshadowed their statement in this article where they said "with our help". It stated Massie had seen their earlier season articles and his awful grading and the explanations why. He went out and busted his ass and really put together a great 2nd half of the season, improving the areas they highlighted. I look forward to seeing how the line builds this year. It was unquestionably our weakest point last year
