I think the cards are making, and are on the verge of making, THREE bad roster moves.

1) KVB should be the RDE.
Giving up on him is assinine. Moving him to RDE is assinine. I don't think people realize what they have in this guy. People, he played through a high ankle sprain and TORN RIB CARTILEDGE last year. Anyone who brings the 2.5 sack argument gets the herring.
"The Card pass rush looked fairly robust against the Felons until Kyle Vanden Bosch suffered a rib injury. When he left the game, the pass rush, though persistant, lost a great deal of its effectiveness." - The Big Red Sheet

Vonnie Holliday? He had all of six sacks playing with Brown, Hunt and KGB. Drop this guy already, he doesn't want to play here. We don't need any more malcontents on this team.
KVB=KissVonnie'sAss? Hell no.

Suggs? If anyone isn't concerned about his workout, they should be. Especially when talking about a top six pick.
That stiff Rien Long put up 13 sacks and 20.5 TFL last year.
How many sacks did the Pac 10 give up this year? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess... A LOT.

2) Big should be playing LT.
Big's play against speed rushers in completely skewed when he's playing on the right side. Granted he pulled his weight on the right side, but he should be dominant on the left. Will he even get a sniff of HIS position before his contract's up?

3) Shipp should be the game 1 starter.
Rewarding Shipp for his undeniable, statistically proven and eye-witness confirmed PRODUCTION on the field by signing Smith and annoiting him the starter without day 1 of practice, preseason or even so much as a sweaty jock is a disgrace.
You can have a publicity stunt by having an impromptu autograph signing, a food drive, a freaking Easter egg hunt.... Screwing with your starting running back who's done nothing but keep his mouth shut and produce, despite no doubt having to listen to "TJ's Piss and Moan 3.2 ypc Dance Party" is not my idea of a good PR move.

I disagree about the Suggs workout. Workout are all eyewash and window dressing anyways. All that matters are results on the field! I could care less what his forty times are anyone who has watched him play knows that his burst off the line and to the QB is a sight to see! Its an eight yard sprint to the QB not a 40 yard one! Plus the play in the holiday bowl when he chased down that speedster from K-state that shows game speed and thats all that matters!

As far as your comments on Shipp I agree 100%!

Double 1 - I agree with everything you posted.

Especially Terrell Suggs. NO WAY is he a top 5 pick. ANYONE picking in the top 5 spots would be crazy to waste a pick on him, there are plenty of speed rushers coming out that are WAY more deserving of being selected in the top 5.

Keep up the good work.

Yes, Yes you're right, Suggs is NOT a top 5 pick. The first five teams would be CRAZY to take Suggs. Threre is just no way he deserves that.

IMO he should go somewhere in the range of the #6 pick. :D

ANY higher that that would be INSANE!!!

Is this supposed to be funny? It doesn't make much sense in reference to your "signature" line.

And to Sec 11, since when is Long a "stiff"? Who gives a rat's ass what his shuttle time or whatever was at the combine, the guy is massive and plays with more heart than anyone this side of KVB. To act like he sucks and lucked into 13 sacks indicates to me that you never saw him play. He plays hard and judging by your KVB support, I tend to think you'd like that kind of player.

I like the combine and all the workouts....that said, the workouts can't supersede what we all saw on the field.

Suggs is the best pass rusher in the draft bar none. I hope that he is not a top five pick....top six yeah, not top five! :D

You don't think it's suspicious that the common denominator at the combine is STIFF?
Look, it's not his fault he's a 6'6" DT.

I saw U-Dub / Wazzu, ASU / Washington, OSU and the Rose Bowl. He looked good.

Well he looks good on the field. Maybe he had a bad day at the Combine. That's why the combine is so stupid. It's the breeding ground of "superstars" like Mike Mamula and guys who are "too slow" like Aeneas Williams and Marcel Shipp.

Long can play. Maybe more of a LDE type, but the guy plays like a maniac.
