LOL

The only NFL message board that has more fans post that they are leaving than new fans saying they are joining.

I say we cut Cards Campos some slack. Hey some guy shot his TV when Bristol Palin was not voted off DWTS. We all have breaking points...some more severe and outlandish than others.

What I like about you, Cards Campos, is you pour your heart out on this board. That's what this board is for...

Like they say in the Lite Beer commercial..."Let's VENT."

So...catch your breath for a couple days, CC and return. It's better to let it out than keep it in.

In CC's defense...what we've been watching the past 5 weeks is very difficult to watch...

Our WRs covered and getting popped at every chance.

Their WRs wide open and unpunished.

3rd and 1 inside Chief's territory before the half in a 14-3 game...and we pass and then we punt.

Whiz should have made a statement to the team there and he didn't.

We pass more with DA on 3rd and short than we did with Warner...it's practically insane.

Thus...let's give any of us, CC especially, some leg room to shoot his TV.

Peace...let's keep the ASFN team intact.

Hang in there, CC.

Mitch normally I would agree with you. But CC has said this at least 3 times this season. Everyone deserves a second chance but a third or fourth? He is just a hot head, he even threatened me in a game day thread. He obviously don't know me because If (as he said) he saw me in a bar he would punch me. I doubt in reallity if he saw me he would even say hi to me. Much less try to fight with me.

Agree to disagree, Mitch.

If anyone wants to leave the board for awhile - leave.

No need to post "I'm Totally Out" or "See you next year." Just go.

I don't agree Brian. When you see your favorite team horribly underachieve like this one has posting that sort of thing can keep you from doing things like throwing your dog through your TV.

CCampos is a good Cards fan and keeps the board lively. Hope its just Frustration Sunday and he'll be back tomorrow.

All this back and forth between posters is exactly what the organization wants. Stay focused on the real problem this season, people. Its our team that blows cheese, not the fans.

No, Duck it is a joke.

These threads are pointless.

If you're going to leave - leave.

If you need to waste board space creating a thread telling everyone that you're leaving - prepare to be bashed and then, if you're smart, stay gone.

Well as a guy who went about 15 years without ever meeting or talking to any other Cardinal fans, had people buy me beers at sports bars because THEY had never met a Cardinal fan, went to the Library on Thursdays to read the previous Sundays AZ Republic because that was the only news I could get regarding the Cards, had to tape Sports Center to catch the second and a half of the highlights of the few Cards games they won and on and on. I respectfully disagree.

To paraphrase Harvey Penick. If you are a Cards fan you are my friend. No matter how mad you get on Sunday.

Well, just like Mitch and I then, we'll have to agree to disagree.

I'm pissed too, but the answer isn't to create a whiny estrogen-filled rant of an exit thread hoping the team loses all the rest of their games so the coach gets canned.

I've said much worse. Once threw all my Cards stuff in my swimming pool and drowned it after yet another embarrassing loss to Dallas.

Then 6 days later I was in my Cards gear standing in line at the Southwest Counter on my way to another Cardinal game at SDS.

Certainly a choice we all have but a true fan doesn't just quit. The frustration is understandable though.

I have been doing this since 1967 so I am in for the duration.

Well I've been on board since 1957 and while they've been worse it's the shock of having come down from the SB so quickly. I won"t ever stop being a Big Red follower but I'm already wrung out this year.....

Nothing wrong with being wrung out. Nothing wrong with hoping that we have the #1 pick. Hoping that we lose out is wrong.

:edit: I don't mean to imply that you are saying that.

Agreed. None of us are so incredibly awesome that we need to announce our departure from the board.

This is why we don't react like this though we are surrounded by people who have all lived through the guff. We have all 'hated' this team but to throw our toys out of the pram and have 'had enough'...NEVER. To coin a new Cards ohrase we have done and always will do this together. (except like you for the 15 or so years with not not even an NFL fan let alone a Cards one)

There were plenty of NFL fans around. Of the Cowboys and Oilers and Giants and Steelers and Packers but no Cardinal fans.

I'd bet more than half the people who came to Cardinal message boards in the early days of such things had their first post begin with "until I found this site I thought I was the only Cardinal fan in the world..."

These posts are so trite. My God, if we all walked out after being frustrated by this team, there'd be no ASFN.
