If you think that John Abraham and Richard Seymour are going to be difference makers, you should probably walk out of 2008 and into 2013.

I could see Abraham maybe working out in seattle on a short term deal ... not sure what the market will bear for the guy, but if it makes sense seattle could do it

With Clemmons being older as well and blowing out his knee in the playoffs I don't think seattle can count on him being back next year so they may sign a veteran stop gap

I think the Seahawks must have taken a good look at the tape from the Vikings victory over San Francisco early this past season [9/23/2012]. Harvin was a big part of the Vikings win in my opinion. He was targeted 11 times and caught 9 passes for 89 yards. He also had an end around carry for nine yards. The Seahawks obviously believe that Harvin presented the Niners with matchup challenges and pulled the trigger.

The more I think about it, the more I think Seattle made a very astute acquisition. It's not risk-free, but it is a worthwhile risk IMO.

As a return man he has no value. Has never returned a punt and has only returned 32 kickoffs in 2 years.

I myself do not think he is a playmaker yet. Playmakers score more often IMO. But I loved him coming out of college and think Seattle will use him better then the Vikings did thus improving his playmaking. In a more read option type O I think he can score more often then he did with the Vikings.

As for killing the cards. He killed them the his first two years, but the last two years, no so much.

I guess it's a matter of choice, but I'd take Harvin over Wallace every day. I think he brings alot more to the table.

and I prefer Mike Wallace and his ability to get deep. IMO Wallace adds value because he keeps a S back and can hurt a team that brings 8 in the box. In contrast, Harvin actually brings players up to the line of scrimmage because they want to get to him in traffic rather than trying to tackle him in the open field.

What's the metric or measure of "biggest playmaker"? I'm asking honestly.

If it's someone where I'm probably not going to change the channel if their side of the ball is on the field? I'd definitely put Calvin Johnson and RG3 ahead of Percy Harvin. I'd probably toss Julio Jones in there--that guy's pretty dynamic.

Defensively, I love watching J.J. Watt work.
I haven't looked it up for everyone, but in the last 3 years, Harvin has 14 TD's from 23 or more yards out. I'm willing to bet that is at, or near the top of the league. He's had KO returns of: 105, 104, 95, and 101. He's has receiving TD's of 54, 48, 39, 26, 53, 34, 25, 23, 51, and 31. Those are big plays in my book.

Well.... We were going to lose twice to the Hawks and Niners anyways.

The Boldin one just crushes my soul more.

Who is a bigger playmaker? If Harvin is not the biggest, he's in the top 5. At the age of 24 and 3 years into his career he's already in the top 40 for career all purpose yards in the entire NFL.

Come on Cbus really?? Hes a good player but biggest "playmaker" in the NFL??

The guy has NEVER eclipsed 1000 yards in a season and never came close to 10 TD's in a season and has averaged a measly 11 YPC over his career.

You wanna think he is more power to you. Not even really worth debating IMO.

This is killer. He is literally the perfect fit for that offense. Hopefully migranes crop up or otherwise Seattle just got a TON better.

First this and Q to 49ers. If you want to know who pissed in my cheerios its John Schnieder and Trent Baalke.

We are going to get totally abused this year.
That said, it's a perfect year to build an o-line. Suck it up and take it for a year. Hell trade Larry to the Niners if you have to, we need open heart surgery at this point.

I'd agree, but the more the Cards gut their roster to free up salary cap space, the more pressing the need becomes to "make a splash" and do something exciting to sell tickets.

That's generally not drafting an offensive guard.

I'll just personify that situation and name him Emmitt Smith. I'd like to think we've matured as an organization and not run that steaming pile up the flagpole again. But, who knows.

Yup, I agree. Next year is the year to get the QBOF anyway and let's face it, the 2013 Cardinals should be strong contenders for the #1 overall pick in 2014. This is the perfect time to tear it down and build it back up. I'd be pumped for a Warmack/Barrett Jones/Stephon Taylor trifecta in the first three rounds this year. This is not the year to chase a QB in FA or the draft.
