Don't watch Stout, since you're already convinced it's going to suck...

Because the Season 2 trailer is pretty epic...

Can't wait. Did you catch the holiday special?

Good thing there's no douchebag police, or they'd arrest you for this, Chap. Really? I mean, I guess it's kind of a compliment that I'm so deep in your head, but... *shrug* Weak sauce, Chap. Weak sauce.

As to the trailer, it looks pretty good. I'll be checking it out. It'll probably still have the same weaknesses as the show--the recent special showed that--but it'll probably have some awesome scenes, character development, and story lines, as the recent special also showed. It's a solid mid-level show for me.

The gratuitous sex scenes comment I get. It's like a musical where they have some stupid reason to burst into song that has nothing to do with the plot. "Look, I found a penny! OOOOOOOOH, find a penny, pick it UUUUUUUUPPPPPPP, All day long you'll have good LLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUCK! My Mother used to saaaaaayyyyyyyy..........." :band: :bang::hammer:

Sense8 Will Return From the Dead With a Two-Hour Special on Netflix Next Year

http://www.vulture.com/2017/06/sense8-returns-two-hour-netflix-special.html

Sense8 isn’t as dead as it once seemed. Weeks after Netflix canceled the Wachowskis’ globetrotting LGBTQ-friendly drama, creator Lana Wachowski has announced today that the series will return for a two-hour grand finale. “Improbably, unforeseeably, your love has brought Sense8 back to life. (I could kiss every single one of you!),” she wrote, noting that while “the numbers have always been challenging,” Netflix will bring the series back for a two-hour special released next year.

Sense8 - Friday, June 8 | Netflix

Canceled after two seasons, the trippy sci-fi series returns for a two-hour finale to wrap up the story of a cluster of eight psychically connected people from around the globe who must band together to protect all future Sensates from an evil conspiracy.

The Wachowskis couldn't get out of their own way to be be honest. This was the best thing they have written since the original Matrix. They just wanted to shove certain things down your throat which distracted from the cool story they were trying to tell. It was just over the top at times when it didn't need to be. They had a good concept.

Why?

At the time, IMO this was the best show on television.

because seeing two lumberjacks swapping tongue turns my stomache. I watch tv/movies to be entertained and I dont find gay sex entertaining.

I realize there are lots of SJW on here as well as in hollywood. but I dont want to see gratuitous sex for any reason, unless I happen to toss in a porn disc... I am a bit prudish,... I dont believe in public displays of affection beyond hugs or holding hands.... I have actually lost a few girlfriends over that...apparently some chicks feel like you dont care about them if you wont kiss them in a restaurant...go figure.

someone mentioned the "MTV Audience"... ever read the shanarra series by Terry Brooks?... excellent story, very well written...and not a sex scene in it really.

until it hit mtv.... then suddenly everybody is shagging everybody,..male, female, elf, orc whatever.... the series is based on elfstones.... and they ruined it

Then you shouldn’t have started the show. It’s pretty explicit from start to finish. But its by far the best thing the Wachowskis have done since 1999.

Yeah I am a guy. Sex in a TV show or movie? Great! However, when it becomes a distraction or feels forced verses organic and takes away from the story being told? That’s what happened. It felt forced, gratuitous and the opposite of organic in terms of story telling. All for the sake of messaging verses storytelling.

Again it’s a shame because it’s the best thing the Wachowskis have written in years and the concept was damn cool. I still love the concept and loved the cast.

Honestly, had they moderated more (not eliminated) and focused on the story arc I think this show really had some legs.
