Separate NBA and Suns Boards?

Recently the vast majority of the threads on this board have been on subjects other than the Suns i.e. Lakers, Kobe, LeBron, Candy etc. Chris Sanders recommended I create a poll to see if the users would like to have the current "Phoenix Suns" board separated into 2 different boards one consisting of strictly Suns conversation and news, and the other consisting of any other NBA talk (Lakers, Kobe, Playoffs excluding the Suns etc.).

Please Vote on one of the following options.

Makes more sense to have the boards separate, would certainly make it more organized.

Separating it into two boards might help since Suns fans tend to be very sensitive about fans of other teams posting in the forum even though the description reads: Discuss Amare Stoudemire, Steve Nash or anything else concerning the Suns or the NBA.

Yeah, well, the Coyote board is always dead and I rarely see any non-Dback stuff on their board. The closest is the Cards, but let's face it, there are BY FAR more non-Suns topics and posts on this board than non-Cards posts on the Cardinal board.

I'm not saying I advocate splitting stuff up, I'm just saying that you can't compare this board to the other sports because the Suns board is so much more populated with non-Suns fans.

This topic always comes up, and every time it does the consensus wants a separate forum for each. The administration though has repeatedly been too pig headed to even consider it, so while it's obviously a good idea, don't hold your breath.

I'm all for it. I once poked fun at Kobe in the Lakers thread in the smack shack(forum title seemed appropriate) and got run outta town for it....fans are sensitive of others speaking out about their teams...REGARDLESS of what colors you wear[coughBIMcough]

In all seriousness though I dont think its necessary. We are not in the playoffs, no big news coming out of Phoenix right now. Not much to discuss. Haven't been posting at all lately, but still reading.

Does this mean that when the Suns are playing another team, fans of the other team are only allowed to post about the other team in the other forum?
