Yah. In hindsight it was a pretty bad idea. I remember the kids in PP being completely ostracized and teased mercilessly. How I avoided that, Ill never know. But I was able to parlay my penchant for cracking wise in class and my overall goofiness into a somewhat normal social life amongst the regular smart and the not so smart kids, who of course where the most popular. I was like their court jester now that I think about it....

Not where me & schutd come from. In our OLD PEOPLE world, it was kinda like an advanced class separate from the rest of your classes where the smart geeky kids went. Economic status was irrelevant.

Ah, I see.

I was just called "gifted" I almost skipped the 2nd and 3rd grade. Moving to a different school killed it for me.

I am still terribly disappointed what they did with the book "Fast Food Nation".
